This is not your typical French holiday home, but this red brick, 100 plus years old, ex-fisherman's cottage is an ideal pied-a-terre for exploring the region of upper Normandy, as well as just leaving the car and walking to the local amenities and views - the port, the beach, the cliffs, not to mention the bars, restaurants and shops. Though the rooms are smallish (all are approx 3m x 4m), the ceilings are quite high. The outside features a small courtyard with a barbecue and seating for four, with a small 2-storey outhouse.

Notes on prices
Prices are fully inclusive of clean, fresh bedlinen, gas and electricity. Please not that we no longer provide towels per person. There will be a small towel by each sink though.
£100 security/damages fully-returnable deposit is required within 2 weeks of initial booking. (We won't count the breakage of the odd glass, cup or saucer).
Changeover day
Saturday is the preferred changeover. At quiet times, this can be varied. Arrival after 2pm. Departure before 11am

All clean, fresh bedlinen is included, but we will no longer be providing towels, as of 1 January 2009. Everywhere will be clean and tidy when you arrive - please make sure it's in the same condition when you leave. |

Accessibility
This property is not suitable for those in wheelchairs. Bedrooms and bathrooms are all on upper floors.

A small, walled courtyard of approx 12 sq. metres with a barbecue and seating.
Coast/Beach
Fecamp has a pebble beach only a 20 minute walk from the house. The view of the cliffs is amazing.
Golf
Etretat golf couse is only 10 miles away.
Travel
Fécamp is well-served by a multi-route bus service within the town. Bus and Rail connect the town to the rest of France.
By car: Calais is two and a half hours away. Boulogne is two and a quarter hours away. Dieppe is one hour away.
LeHavre is half an hour away.
Distances
The cliffs of the nearby coastline are a must-see. Many quaint fishing villages are dotted along the nearby coast.
Further details
All the major French banks are in the town centre (6 mins). Aldi (5mins), Champion (10 mins) and Intermarché (5 mins) have branches just a short walk away. Fecamp is full of bars and restaurants. The 'best' are in the town centre (6 mins walk) or the port (15 mins walk). Benedictine (a famous old liqueur) is made here - about 10 minutes from the house to the museum and distillery.

A £100 deposit is required soon after booking. Final payment must be made 30 days before the booked start date.
