Situated in beautiful countryside on the Charente-Dordogne border, our holiday home is a 150 year old former farmhouse with spacious rooms in a stunning setting within walking distance of the pretty village of Saint Severin, which has cafes, restaurants and shops. The house has been restored to provide modern facilities (including new wiring and new bathrooms) while retaining its original character. Close to two river beaches and a swimming lake, the house is also within easy reach of the Bordeaux, Bergerac and Cognac vineyards. Saint Severin is an easy drive from Bergerac airport (about 50 minutes), about 90 minutes from Bordeaux, Brive and Limoges airports and just 45 minutes from the TGV railway station at Angouleme (2 1/2 hours to Paris where you can connect to the Eurostar).
