Each villa has a private, shaded terrace with table, chairs and a barbecue overlooking the large gardens and the Correzien countryside. There is a 12m x 5m saltwater pool.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the properties per week in Euros. 10% discounts available for long term winter lets. Daily rates available (min 2 nights). Extra beds available for a small charge.
Changeover day
Changeover day is normally Saturday during high season but is flexible at all other times. Arrival after 4pm and departure before 10am.
Notes on accommodation
All villas are centrally heated for winter letting, each has a wood burning stove (there is a small charge for wood). Bed linen, towels (pool towels are available for hire), tea towels and cleaning products are provided. There are adult bikes for hire. In our reception area there are a selection of DVDs, books and indoor/outdoor games for our guests to enjoy. The pool is protected by an alarm which conforms with current French pool safety regulations.
Outside
All villas have shaded patio areas with table and chairs and barbecues. Sun loungers are provided around the 12 x 5 salt water pool which maintained and cleaned daily.
Coast/Beach
The coast is approx. a 2.5 hour drive away.
Golf
Our closest golf courses are at Brive (42km) and Limoges (60km).
Travel
Villas de Leypinas is situated between Limoges and Brive. Limoges airport is approx 55 mins drive away, car hire is available. Calais is approx. 7 hours drive. There are mainline train stations in Brive and Limoges.
Distances
We are a short walk away from the small village of Saint Pardoux Corbier with its large fishing lake and bar. 6km away is the town of Lubersac which has supermarkets and restaurants/bars. Pompadour, with its impressive chateau, national stud and race course, is 8km away. The Correze is home to six of France's most beautiful villages, all are within an hours drive. The main attractions of the Dordogne are an hours drive south of us.
Further details
Pompadour has horse racing throughout the summer and eventing at other times. Our small village of Saint Pardoux holds weekly Wednesday evening local produce markets during July and August; there are communal barbecues and live music.

About the owner
We decided to leave the UK in 2003 and spent the following 12 months backpacking around the world. France was always our first choice of countries in which to settle and so, in 2005 we bought a farm complex here in the Correze. The first 18 months were spent creating our holiday accommodation then we set up a small building business to fund the next part of our dream. We are currently renovating our house and barn with a view to offering B&B in 2012.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Our criteria when looking for a place to create our home and business were, remote but not isolated, accessible but quiet, traditional buildings and community. Our small hamlet of Leypinas is in the commune of Saint Pardoux Corbier, our arrival pushed the population up to 351! Amazing considering we're less than an hour from Brive and Limoges airports and only a short drive away from the A20 autoroute! We find our new neighbours extremely friendly, we couldn't have been made more welcome and are made to feel very much part of the community.
Unique benefits of the property
It is a lovely, quiet rural setting but everything is close by, shops, bars and restaurants are 6 Km away. Locally we also have lovely picturesque villages and are within day trip distance to the highlights of the Dordogne but without the crowds! There is fishing, horse riding, karting, canoeing available close by for the more active. The stunning race course and its national stud are at Pompadour only 7 Km away. Tourism is still in its infancy in this area of France but there's a very friendly 'energy' during the summer. The weekly evening farmers market in our village represents all that is good about this region, good food, music and a very friendly atmosphere!
