On a park-like setting, the entire property offers individual privacy, accommodating families, couples and groups who are seeking a relaxed and tranquil environment. There is a large outdoor pool and in summer, pick your own 'fruit' with abundant choices from the orchard. For those wanting a little exercise, we also have bike rentals by the hour or half-day and we can help you plan those 25km or even 50km cycle excursions! We are also happy to prepare a day out picnic basket. Out of high season we offer B&B and long term winter rentals. In our new bistro we will be offering food from the pizza oven and rotisserie. Local activities include the auto racing circuit at Nogaro, together with Ultra lite, glyder, single engine and helicopter schools. There's lots of local music, entertainment and fetes on hand from March through November; including night markets. Attend French, Portuguese and Spanish bullfights including the Corrida and even our own local version of running of the bulls!

Notes on prices
Prices are based on per person/per week for the cottages and per 2 persons sharing for B&B. The above pricing is based on our 3 bedroom cottage sleeping 6 persons. For each additional person (max 8 capacity) add, 50.00 euros per person. Winter lets available, enquire for long term discounts. 20% discounts on 4 weeks rental!
Changeover day
In season, the changeover day is Saturday with arrival after 4pm and a checkout by no later than 10am. Please call for your own special requirements. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Aramis Cottage (Sleeps 6/8, 3 Bedrooms + 2 Baths)

This cottage is a light and bright, end of terrace south facing cottage converted from the former stone barn. It has high ceilings and possesses many of its original timber features. There are 2 large queen size bedrooms (each with a 160cm bed) and a twin bedded room plus a child's pull out sofa sleeper. The open plan living/dining room has a fully equipped kitchen and dining arrangements for 8 persons. There is also a double sofa sleeper. The outside partially covered terrace is ideal for al-fresco dining and has spacious dining arrangements and BBQ for 8 persons. The cottage is equipped with TV, DVD and CD. |

D'Artagnan+Portos (Sleeps 6-9 )

D'Artagnan cottage is an end of terrace, bright, light and airy cottage. Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with a set of twin beds. 2 bathrooms. Separate eat in kitchen, lounge with a double sofa sleeper. (Portos cottage - can be added to this unit. It has a double bedroom with a set of twin beds, ensuite bathroom plus a living room with a kitchenette and sofa sleeper). d,Artagnan also has a wood burning Nordica fireplace, making ideal for year round use. D'Artagnan with 2 bedrooms is suitable for up to 6 persons and with Portos cottage could add another 2/3 persons. NOTE°°° If you need accommodation in NOGARO for the racing circuit, we also have a 3 bedroom apartment suitable for 6-8 persons. |

Notes on accommodation
Each cottage is fully equipped with linens, towels, TVs, CD, DVDs etc. Extensive on-site DVD rental library too! We also have WIFI networking on-site. Garden cottage and D'Artagnan are ready for year round use and we welcome winter rentals. The grounds are ideal for children and small dogs considered. We also have 2 baby cribs for rent at a nominal charge. Our guest laundry has 3 washing machines and off the pool area we have a wet room with shower and WC. There is ample parking and lots of recreational space for volleyball, badminton, boules, soccer etc.
Accessibility
The property, while not completely flat is reasonably good for the physically challenged. Garden cottage is on a completely level area and has a large shower accommodating the needs of physical assistance.
Outside
The 5 acres of land are dedicated to lawn, gardens and recreational areas. All cottages have patios and outdoor furniture and BBQs. The 11m x 6m swimming pool is open from April to end of October and is shared by guests. Our new bistro is private for our guests and members only and will offer continental dining using the wood burning oven and rotisserie.
Coast/Beach
We are located approx 1¼ hour drive from Cap Breton and Hossegor (famous for surfing). Other wonderful beaches include the Arcachon basin, south of Bordeaux, with the largest sand dunes in Europe (under 2 hours drive). To the south you can reach Biarritz and the Payee Basque region, or the Spanish resorts, including San Sebastian for an easy day out. If you enjoy the mountains, try your hand at white water rafting from the snow melt on the Navarenne river or hiking the Pic du Midi.
Golf
Golf at Guinlet near Eauze is about 20km away. Other locations within 30-40 mins drive at Aire sur L'Adour and Mont de Marsan.
Skiing
Skiing in the Pyrenees can be done as a day trip. Le Mongie being the closest resort at under 2 hours drive.

Great cycling routes for those interested in a challenge.
Travel
Pau is the nearest airport just under 1 hour's drive. Bordeaux, Toulouse, Biarritz and Bergerac are reached under 2 hours drive. The train station at Mont de Marsan (30 mins drive) is the gateway to Bordeaux and then on to Paris. Cars can be rented at Mont de Marsan and all of the airports. Car hire essential.
Distances
Our local village, Estang is 3km away and has all basic amenities including: butchers, bakers, cash point, groceries, beauty shops, newsagents, hotel/restaurant and even our own bull ring. There is also a small country market on Saturday and Sunday morning. Nogaro famous for the auto racing circuit is approx 12 mins drive. Eauze with all amenities is about 15 mins drive. Aire sur l'Adour to the south is under 30 mins drive.
Further details
We have a wonderful small aerodrome in Nogaro offering ultra light, single engine, glider and helicopter pilotage schools.
For families there are aquatic activities such as wind-surfing at the 190 acre lake just outside of Barbotan Les Thermes, while mothers can partake in the 'therapeutic' natural waters of the spa. Other sports include: equestrian, canoeing fishing and golf.
The local village of Estang, just 3km away offers tennis courts.
Booking notes
A 30% deposit secures your booking and this can be paid by bank wire transfer, a certified European bank check or French bank check. The balance including a final clean up fee of 40 euros is due 8 weeks before arrival. A security/damage deposit of 150 euros is due on arrival and receipt of the house key. This will be refunded within 5 days of departure. Pets will also require a pet damage deposit.
