This former wine-maker's cottage has been renovated to the highest standards. It is now a luxuriously appointed 2 bedroom holiday home, with two bathrooms, large comfortable living/dining room with seating for 6 and a stylish modern kitchen with 5 hob rotisserie oven for gourmet menu preparation. Sleeping up to 5 in the cottage it is also fully equipped for babies with 2 cots and 2 high chairs if required. La Petite Cozanne is a separate one bedroomed apartment with additional sofa bed and may be booked separately or together with the cottage for larger parties. Both properties have central heating throughout.

Notes on accommodation
The property benefits from gas fired central heating and there is an air-conditioning unit in the master bedroom. Children are welcome and the garden, attached to La Cozanne is entirely enclosed. All gates can also be locked. All linen and towels are provided. Off-road parking for up to two cars is available.
Accessibility
Regrettably the doors are not wide enough for wheel-chair access but the ground floor accommodation is ideal for elderly guests. The apartment (La Petite Cozanne) is unsuitable for guests who are not able to manage the outside stone stairs and has some low ceilings and doorways.
Outside
La Cozanne has an enclosed garden featuring attractive gravel paths and raised floor beds. There is ample garden furniture. A superb barbeque and bread oven, with canopy and outside lighting are available for use and La Cozanne has a covered porch to provide shelter from the sun. The apartment does not have a garden.
Golf
Beaune Levernois golf course is 27 km away (30 minutes drive).
Travel
The A6 autoroute linking Paris to Lyon can be accessed at Beaune or Chalon. The A6 links with other autoroutes north to Paris and Calais, south to Lyon and the Mediterranean and easy access east to Switzerland, Germany and Italy. The TGV station at Le Creusot has frequent trains to Paris centre or Charles de Gaulle Airport, Lyon and also to Lille twice a day for connecting trains to London via Eurostar. There are regular worldwide flights to Lyon and flights from Southampton to Dijon.

Change is a charming village just 2km from Nolay in the Valley de la Cozanne. La Cozanne used to be owned by village winemakers and you can visit them and taste the wine every day of the year. There are 7 other winemakers in the village as well!
Situated in the heart of the Hautes cotes de Beaune, Change is about 25 min drive from Beaune (the wine capital of Burgundy), 31km north west of Chalon sur Saone, and 31km east of Autun (Roman town and gateway to the Morvan Natural Park). The Canal du centre is just a few minutes away, where you can walk, cycle and horse ride along the bridle paths and the Voie Verte, opening up Burgundy to cyclists and walkers passes through the village.
Hikers can start in Change, either from the Circuit de Trois Monts' or the famous GR7. From the top of the Mont des Trois Croix you will find a fantastic panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. There are also two mountain bikes at the property to help you to explore the surrounding countryside.
On the doorstep Change has a small village bistro and popular mini-golf, while Nolay offers a range of good restaurants, local shops, banks, bakers, butchers, chemist, antique shops, wine merchants, a supermarket and a covered market. There is also a natural swimming lake and tennis facilities.
