A two storey older Provence - style apartment situated in the development of Mas de la Mer, close to Théoule sur Mer at the foothills of the Estérel Mountains. Just 40 minutes from Nice airport and a 15 minute drive from the Croisette in Cannes, it is the perfect place from which to enjoy the relaxed lifestyle of the French Riviera. It overlooks the bay of La Figueirette on a stretch of coastline renowned for its natural beauty and distinctive rose coloured rocks. The swimming pool is for the exclusive use of the residents, A few minutes walk down hill from the apartment you will discover safe, sandy beaches, beach bars and restaurants. Protected beaches offer safe swimming, ideal for family holidays.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with double bed and hanging cupboards, doors open onto balcony.
Bedroom 2 single bed with pull out mattress to sleep 2. Door opens onto balcony.
Bathrooms: First floor bathroom serves both bedrooms and includes, bath with shower, toilet and vanitory unit
Kitchen: The open-plan kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and range of storage units.
Utility Room: Ground floor shower room. This room has shower, basin and toilet. There is also a washing machine.
Living Rooms: Salon open from the kitchen area and has two double sofas (one a sofa bed), TV, radio, DVD and CD player. Hanging storage area. Doors open onto terrace with garden furniture and built-in BBQ.
Other: There is a private parking space for the apartment.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and linen are not included but can be hired. Cleaning is included at the end of the stay.

 

Notes on accommodation
There are fans both upstairs and down stairs for the hotter months and individual heaters for cooler months.

Accessibility
As there are steps to the apartment from the parking area and there is a staircase in the apartment, it is not suitable for wheelchairs or persons with mobility problems.

Outside
The garden/terrace has a circular extendable table and chairs and a gas fired built-in bbq. Also there are loungers.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is approx 3 mins drive or 7 mins walk down the bottom of the hill. The beach is sandy and safe and there are many facilities in the summer season eg sailing, diving etc. There are a variety of beach bars and restaurants. There are many other beaches only a few miles drive along the coast road.

Golf
There is an excellent golf course in Mandelieu, about 15 mins drive away and also at Mougins.

Skiing
Skiing is approx 1¾ hour by car to either Valberg or Isola. Slopes open from late December to March.

Travel
The nearest airport is Nice, about a 40 mins drive. Marseilles is about 2 hours drive. From the UK the drive takes about 12 hours from Calais. The use of a car is recommended.

Distances
The nearest town is Theoule about 5 mins by car. The closest shop is a small general store in La Trayas 3 mins drive. The breadman drives a small van to the complex most mornings.

Further details
There are many restaurants in the bay and along the coast road towards Theoule. Theoule also has restaurants, beaches a tourist office and post office. Mandelieu has a large supermarket. There are local food markets in the local marina and in Theoule.
