Appartment des Remparts is a beautifully restored one bedroom apartment in the centre of historic Dinan. The large open plan kitchen / living area has polished wooden floors, lime plastered walls an imposing Granite fireplace and a hand built oak kitchen unit. In the bedroom the original wooden wall panelling has been carefully restored and complements the two original oil paintings discovered in the course of the renovation. Fully equipped and fitted in 2007.

Coast/Beach
The beautiful North coast can easily be reached by car in 30-35 mins. THe coast is renowned for its attractive coves, sandy beaches and family resorts.
Golf
A number of golf courses are a short drive away including Dinard and St Meloir Du Bois.
Travel
The nearest airport is at Dinard about 25 mins by car. Ryanair offer very cheap regular flights to and from the UK. The ferry port of Saint Malo is 30 mins by car. Other ferry ports are an easy drive on good roads ,including Caen, Roscoff and Cherbourg (all about 2 hours drive).
Distances
The apartment is located in the heart of historic Dinan, one of the best preserved medieval towns in France. Further afield is the 'must see' Mont St Miche and the historic towns of Fougeres, Vitre and the regional capital of Rennes. The Normandy D Day beaches and historic Bayeau can be reached in about 2 hours. The high speed train (TGV) links Dinan to Paris in 4 hours.
Further details
Dinan has a wide range of good bistros and restaurants as well as traditional French bars and cafes. There is a in Dinan which is home to a number of artist’s galleries and craftsmen's workshops. As a regional centre, there is the usual range of shops, banks and other facilities.
Booking notes
A 25% deposit is required to secure your reservation; the balance of the rental is due 8 weeks before your stay. A refundable damage deposit of £200 is payable two weeks before your holiday - this is refunded within two weeks of your departure.

'Thank you for the wonderful time we had at your property in Dinan. We've beeen travelling for 8 months now and have had nowhere like it in all that time. The house itself was homely and comfortable whilst the garden proved a revelation. Meals of typical French produce washed down with a good red were wonderful out there and will be very happy memories.' (DC May 08).
