Refurbished inside and out, next to the 'luge' chairlift and nursery slopes and only 2 minutes (flat) walk from the main Jandri express lift giving you access to the whole mountain. During Winter, you can ski to the door. It is a 1st floor apartment with a lift and has private car parking. It is fully equipped and has a bath with good shower and separate wc. Comfortable Full size double sofabed in the lounge and bunk beds in the entrance hallway separated from the lounge by a door plus z-bed (by request) suitable for a child. Secure ski locker in the basement for equipment storage. Due to the resort's high altitude, skiing is available all year round. Deux Alpes also has the largest snow park in Europe. The resort has a lot to offer people of all ages both during the Winter and Summer seasons. It has a large resident community who are extremely welcoming and friendly. There are lots of good restaurants and bars, nightclubs for the younger age group, all round a great resort.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. We also accept payment in Euros. Bedlinen & towels provided at 15 euros per person. Security/damage deposit payable to key holder on arrival from which mandatory cleaning fee & bedlinen costs will be deducted. Discount available for long Summer lets. Ski passes, lesson, off piste guiding, equipment hire, helicopter and skidoo rides can all be arranged, payable locally. Winter season: early December -end April. Summer season: mid June -end August
Changeover day
Changeover day is normally Saturday but we are flexible during non peak times - just ask!

Notes on accommodation
Ideal for families as children can play outside on the nursery slopes and you can see them from the balcony. The best location with no hills or steps to climb. Non-smoking apartment. No pets.
Accessibility
This is a first floor apartment and there is a lift. The apartment building is close to everything and situated on the flat, not up the hill - no hills or steps to climb. Although centrally located, the apartment is situated in a quiet area - just far enough away from bars and restaurants to get a quiet night's sleep.
Outside
Private car park with secure barrier. We have a lockable ski locker in the basement for the safe-keeping of your equipment. The interior of the apartment was fully refurbished last season and this Summer the exterior of the block has been refurbished with new balconies and totally painted and renovated.
Golf
In the Summer within the resort there is a 9 hole golf course available set against the stunning backdrop of the Muzelle.
Skiing
Les Deux Alpes village is at 1650m and has a large amount of skiing from 1300m - 3600m suitable for all abilities. In particular the runs on the glacier are wide and suitable for beginners and intermediates. The more challenging runs are mainly coming back down to the village. The snow park is the largest in Europe and has a huge variety of jumps, runs and half-pipes etc. During the summer and Halloween fortnight, there is glacier skiing, mountain biking, paragliding, festivals and lots of other sports and events. There is a skating rink and outdoor swimming pool. Add to this a huge range of apres-ski options and the lift-linked descent to La Grave, and you have a very special destination.
Unusually the resort and ski lifts are open for two weeks at Halloween (end October early November) where there is a festival of the latest ski / snowboard equipment which you can test free of charge on the glacier. The snowpark is open.
Special interest holidays
Winter: skiing, boarding, walking, glacier. Summer: mountain biking (including the "Mondial du VTT and Mountain of Hell" events, paragliding, white water rafting, skating, swimming, ice gliding, tennis, rock climbing, golf, trampolining, bungee jumping, adventure park, horse riding and many more events arranged weekly by the resort. The itinerary is normally on the 2 Alpes web site.
For bargain out of season rates, ideal opportunities for walkers, cyclists, artists and photographers to enjoy the fantastic mountain scenery - see the out of season rates. Les Deux Alpes isn’t just about skiing, if skiing isn't for you then there are a host of alternative activities to cater for every taste, from the exhilaration of Parapente (Paragliding) and snow biking, to holistic treatment in the tanking center. From exploring the ice caves to supping Vin Chaude with your friends.
Travel
Nearest airports are Lyon and Grenoble with regular flights from all the UK airports to both. Bus links from both airports plus car hire available. You could be at the resort in under 2 hours from Lyon. You could also fly to Chambery, St Etienne, Geneva, Chambery and Turin. Les Deux Alpes is approximately 7-8 hour drive from Calais and easily accessible by car.
Distances
The apartment is centrally located in Les Deux Alpes but for those who don't want to ski every day, you can take the local cable car down to a beautiful Olde Worlde cobbled artisan village of Venosc - well worth a trip. Local markets at Mont de Lans (2 kms) and Bourg D'Oisans (20kms) where there is an interesting array of shops and restaurants.
Further details
Your ski pass covers the nearby resorts of Alpe D'Huez (6 minute helicopter ride available) and Serre Chevalier and Puy St Vincent. More than enough ski-ing for any enthusiast! For advanced off-piste skiing try the descent to La Grave from the top of the 2 alpes glacier - its a winter wonderland, unspoiled and amazing.
Booking notes
Meet and greet from our very organised english speaking keyholder. A security deposit of €350 by credit card held on arrival by keyholder from which charge for apartment cleaning after departure of 40 euros will be deducted. No smoking and no pets inside the apartment.
