The 2 apartments are new and very well equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, TV and DVD player) The view on the village is fantastic.The 2 apartments have a ski locker, and a balcony. The chalet is very well located in Chatel. In Châtel you'll find everything that the perfect resort has to offer. A lively village center, perfectly preserved mountain architecture, skiing in the vast unspoiled spaces of the Portes du Soleil, with little side routes here and there that you can follow on foot, on snowshoes or on skis. The countryside is as magnificent as the old chalets in the valley. Here, the atmosphere is a tempting mixture of a peaceful way of life, friendship and fun!

The two bedroom apartment has a garden and the other one has a terrace. In the summer you can eat outside and do barbecue as well.
Skiing
There is a bus stop outside the chalet. These buses that take you to the slopes are free. If you take your car it will take you 2 min.
Special interest holidays
You have a lot of activities in Chatel, the first is the ski with more than 650km of slopes thanks to the link with the Portes du Soleil. there is also a Lake 5 min walk from the center situated in an outstanding natural setting. Next to the lake there is an ice rink in the open air. Come and enjoy yourself with your family; you can ski all day long, and continue under the stars as the rink is open several evenings a week. If the condition are good conditions another rink, a natural one, is opened on the lake. If you want to change you can do under ice diving in complete safety, with qualified and specialized teachers, you’ll live an experience out of the ordinary! Or you can use the several forest roads that will take you in the mountains for a nice walk. A lot of activities are adapted for the kids in the village.

The memory of our village film is played at the Musardière hall. From its beginning to nowadays, discover Châtel and its long history. Admission is free.
Painting lessons, outdoor or in the Chatelaine room. All equipment is provided and you'll return home with your canvas. Booking essential. (for children aged 6 - 10 years old). Welcoming party: presentation of the village and its activities, with the participation of the local providers. Mulled wine and hot chocolate offered to all.
Ice skating evening at the ice rink. Guided tour of Châtel with the little sightseeing train. Discover the village having a guided tour on the little train, advanced and charged bookings at the tourist board. Under-ice fishing with a professional guide at Lake Vonnes. All equipment provided. Advanced and charged bookings.(available for children over 6 yrs old, children must be accompanied by the parents; only if good ice conditions). Visit one of the traditional village farm, taste local cheese and homemade products. Charged bookings at the tourist board. "Les pinces méninges" big challenge open to everyone over 12 yrs old: build copies of local official buildings (town hall...) with clothes pegs. All equipment provided, admission free. On Wednesday Mornings weekly market.
