Your choice: Ski all of Les Arcs or La Plagne, or both! 300m from the apartment is the Vanoise Express - the awesome 200 man cable car which crosses the 1km valley in 4 mins - to ski La Plagne. Or take the 6-man chair to ski Les Arcs. Positioned on a blue run and near a great restaurant the apartment enjoys the truly stunning panorama of the Vanoise National Park. A few mins walk to 2 quaint resorts, Plan Peisey and Vallandry offer great après-ski and restaurants, as well as ski hire and lessons. The closest Eurostar and Snowtrain station is at Landry, the penultimate stop before the terminus at Bourg St Maurice. Landry is about 10 mins from the apartment by taxi, or should you be distracted and miss your stop Bourg St Maurice is still only a further 15 mins away, and an easy transfer by either taxi or bus. Chambery is the closest airport at just over an hour away by car. Transfers from Grenoble and Lyon airports are about 2 hours and Geneva airport is about 2.5 hours away.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds.
In addition to the rental a deposit of £250 is payable which is fully refundable, subject to no cancellation or damage.
Changeover day
Current guests are asked to vacate the apartment by 10am on changeover day, Saturday and new guests not to occupy the apartment until after 2pm to allow a thorough clean to be done.
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 has a double bed, wardrobe and shelves. Bedroom 2 has twin beds, wardrobes and bedside units. Bedroom 3 has two sets of bunk beds, wardrobe and shelves. |
| Bathrooms: | Each bathroom has a power shower within a 1200 enclosure. This provides plenty of room for a refreshing shower. A heated towel rail provides more comfort. Between each bathroom is the separate wc to provide great relief when both showers are in use! |
| Kitchen: | Fully integrated units including a four ring hob, fridge, combination oven/grill, microwave and dishwasher supported by plenty of base and wall units containing pots, pans, bowls, cooking dishes along with crockery and cutlery for up to 10 guests. |
| Utility Room: | Internal to the apartment is a ski and boot storage area, which provides greater security and convenience. |
| Living Rooms: | The lounge consists of very comfortable sofas from which to relax and enjoy the TV/DVD, or full music system, including radio (for daily weather forecasts in English) CD and audio tapes. Guests are welcome to enjoy any DVD/CDs here, or any of their own. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
New linen is provided every week when the apartment is cleaned on changeover day, which is Saturday though guests are required to bring their own towels. |

Skiing
By linking the resorts of Les Arcs and La Plagne - now known as Paradiski - skiers of all abilities have over 420km of piste at their disposal! Probably more off-piste! The apartment is positioned about 300m from this link, so you really can choose to ski all of Les Arcs or all of La Plagne!
Travel

Booking notes
A £250 security and cancellation deposit is required per booking. This is fully refundable subject to no cancellation and the property and possessions are not damaged. The full rental amount is due no later than eight (8) weeks before guests are due to stay in the apartment.

About the owner
An extremely keen skier, I love the Alps and have enjoyed staying in chalets, self-catering apartments and hotels in France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy and North America.
Having been introduced to skiing by my Scottish wife("If you can ski in Scotland, you can ski anywhere" - not because it's difficult but because it's mostly awful) our two children are now both truly enjoying the many positives to skiing.
As a Lecturer I am extremely fortunate in having the time to visit the Alps in all the seasons, as summer offers many other thrills.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
The area around the apartment is truly beautiful, with an unobstructed view up the valley separating Vallandry and La Plagne.
It is only a few hundred metres from the impressive 200-man cable car linking Les Arcs with La Plagne, with this combined ski domain now known as Paradiski. Beside this is the 6-man chair up to the Les Arcs ski area.
Just 3-minutes walk into the lovely village of Plan Peisey its ski-in/out location really does make it ideal for a fantastic week of skiing - as easy or as challenging as you want!

Apart from its ideal location the apartment allows guests to truly relax. The very comfortable lounge is convivial to a chill-out mood.
The kitchen is equipped to offer the more adventurous chefs scope to create, or for those who just want to flop the convenience to do so!
The dining room comfortably seats 8 whilst listening to your own CD's or radio.
The apartment allows a large party or a couple of families more than the average amount of room to enjoy a week together without tripping over each other or having to sleep in any living area.
