Les Manades is situated in the center of Aigues Mortes overlooking the canal. The castle and town centre can be viewed from the apartment balcony. It is a gated development with communal pool and underground car parking and lift. 2 min walk within the walls of the castle you will find a multitude of stores, from art and crafts, banks and specialist shops to boulangeries and about 40 restaurants serving local specialities and very fresh fish. Colourful markets on Wednesday and Sundays augment all your needs. There are a variety of Mediterranean beaches, the nearest one located at Le Grau Du Roi, approx. 5km. The apartment includes a patio table and chairs and barbecue on the balcony. Close to a range of golf courses.

Changeover day is Saturday. Check-in time is 4pm, check-out time is 10am.

Notes on accommodation
Children welcome but no pets allowed. The apartment is fitted with smoke detectors and is non-smoking.
Outside
The pool is a shared pool which has enclosed railings and is only accessible through a secure gate. Sun loungers are provided and can be taken from the apartment and brought to the pool area. The apartment includes a balcony with patio table and chairs and barbecue.
Coast/Beach
The closest beach is Le Grau du Roi which is locate 5km away. The beaches are beautiful and provide a very safe swimming environment. Plenty to occupy children with a water park and sea aquarium for their pleasure.
Golf
Golf de la Grande Motte offers you two courses; an 18 hole and a 6 hole. Both designed in the pure traditional Florida style by landscape designer Robert Trent Jones Senior. Golf De Fontcaude's 18 hole course was designed by Chris Pittman. Golf De Saint Thomas is an 18 hole golf course and was designed by Patrice Lamber. It is set in typically Mediterranean scenery in the still wild garrigue.
Travel
Montpellier - 20 mins. Marseille - 1 hour 30 mins. Smaller regional airports are located at Nimes, Carcassone and Perpignan. Car hire is available at all airports. Aigues Mortes train station is easily accessible to the apartment. The TGV runs to Montpellier and Beziers.
Distances
Arles, Nimes, Montpellier, Carcassone, Sete, Agde, Avignon, Marseille are all nearby and within easy reach. You can visit Greco-Roman remains, shop in some of the best districts in France, visit the local art galleries, or eat the fresh seafood by the Mediterranean, all within a close reach.
Further details
Drink some of the excellent regional wines in France, such as Chateau Neuf du Pape. You can see the medieval history of Europe in Avignon at the palace of the Popes, experience Cathar country and the hill villages or wander the seaside towns of Sete, Agde or the Camague.
Booking notes
A deposit of 25% is taken when the apartment is booked and the balance is taken 8 weeks before the rental period. A full refund is available if the booking is can cancelled 3 months in advance. Breakages and damage to the apartment or furnishing will be charged for. Electricity and hot water are included.
