A ground floor 1 bedroom attractively furnished apartment within a small group of chalets called L’Grets in St Gervais. An exceptional location on the main piste down to the Le Bettex telecabine only 100m away. We have recently renovated the entire apartment. The chalet overlooks St Gervais town, Mont Blanc and the Arve valley. There is also a private locker for your skis as you enter the main chalet building. The apartment will comfortably sleep 4 people. Only a short walk to the main shops and supermarket in the centre of town (15 mins). Ski bus passes straight past the apartment from the base at Le Fayet through the village to the top of the lift at Le Bettex.

Changeover day
Our preferred changeover day is Saturday. Please arrange to leave before 10am. Our agent will meet with you to return your deposit.

Notes on accommodation
Central heating is underfloor heating throughout with oil radiators for extra heating.
Skiing
During the ski season the resorts of St Gervais and Megeve are linked, with 116 ski lifts the Evasion ski area offers 420km of slopes facing the sublime Mont Blanc panorama. St Gervais also has one of the best snow parks in the region hosting the French snowboard championships in 2002. The Mont Blanc tramway can be taken from the village to the Bellevue Plateau (1800m) giving access to the Les Houches ski area. The ski area of St Gervais has 136 pistes, 19 blacks, 52 reds, 42 blue and 23 green runs, 28km of cross country skiing, 20km of snowshoe tracks and 15km of footpaths. There are 2 ski schools and comprehensive crèche facilities.
Special interest holidays
The village also has thermal baths which offer massages, relaxing baths and complimentary therapies. Great after a hard days skiing or walking! The Mont Blanc spa waters that run through St Gervais are just another good reason to try out the place. The scenery is breathtaking and it is just a great base to discover the whole Alps region.
Travel
There are a number of airports from which you can access St Gervais – Geneva is the nearest (45 miles/1hr drive straight down the autoroute A40.) Grenoble, Chambery and Turin are all approximately 2hrs drive. 550 miles from Calais - motorway all the way. St Gervais is off the A40 at junction 21 signposted Saint Gervais/Le Fayet. Train –Access to St Gervais/Le Fayet SNCF railway station is 4km from the village centre. It takes about 4hrs from London to Paris and 5hrs from Paris.
Distances
St Gervais is a charming 19th century town nestled between Chamonix and Megeve on the west side of the Mont Blanc Massif. Only a few kilometres from the autoroute Blanche and the Mont Blanc tunnel through to Italy and only 15 minutes to Chamonix and Megeve.
Further details
A traditional Savoyard market town with a Baroque church. The market is held in the main square on Thursday mornings. There are also lots of restaurants, bars, supermarkets and shops to choose from. There are even 2 take away pizza places if you need a quiet night in. There are 4 banks and 2 pharmacies in the village, a public library and a casino. The town has maintained its historic charm and character, and the atmosphere is both warm and friendly.
