30 min drive away is 18 hole golf course, Golf Club des Ormes (50 Euros per day) a magnificent course in the grounds of a 16th century chateau set in wooded parkland bordering natural lakes. It is suitable for golfers of all abilities and has hosted a number of major tournaments.

Travel
Easily accessible from main A84 road. Sail from Poole to Cherbourg or St Malo or from Portsmouth to Cherbourg, St Malo, Caen or Le Havre which are all ports within easy driving distances. St Malo is a 45 min drive. Cherbourg is 2 hours. Caen is 1 1/2 hours. Le Havre is 2½ hours.
Nearest airport is Dinard which is 1 hour away.
Distances
5 min drive to St James a lovely market town with supermarket, boulangerie, coffee shops, bars and all other things French. Excellent shopping can be found in Avranches and Fougeres (with over 1,000 years of history the town boasts the largest medieval castle in Europe) which are both 20 mins drive. Le Mans is a 2 hour drive away.

We live in Hampshire with our 2 teenaged children. We both work and are lucky to have jobs enabling us to travel extensively. Having fallen in love with this part of France we like to give others the opportunity to enjoy our holiday home and the beautiful region. Year purchased: 2007.
