This is a brand new apartment, first offered for rental for Winter 2007/8. The living space comprises of an open plan lounge area and kitchen, dining table, cosy double bedroom, bathroom and wc. There is substantial storage space. The lounge area features a sofa that converts to a double bed. There is also a bunk bed room, thus accommodating 4 -6 people. The apartment has under-floor heating and comes equipped with a flat-screen television and DVD player. There is a balcony with seating for you to enjoy a glass of wine/beer and enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Outside there is a ski locker room and communal gardens.

This is a Summer and Winter resort near Morzine in the French Alps at an altitude of 1,250 meters. It is perfect for skiing in winter and walking, climbing, mountain biking, white water rafting, golf, etc in the summer.

Skiing
Drouzin Le Mont ski area is located 300 meters away and within a 15 min drive you have access to the Portes Du Soleil ski area. This is the largest linked ski area in the world and is made up of twelve French and Swiss resorts. It boasts some 650km of piste in the Winter, as well as lift access to over 380km of marked mountain bike and hiking trails in the summer. Climbing from 1000 to 2466m, between France and Switzerland, its 204 ski lifts will take you up to 279 slopes that interconnect the 12 resorts. These are all accessible with a single ski pass! For those looking for long pistes, there are runs up to 7km long. For snowboarders, there are four snowboard parks, each of them offering something different, and equipped with features for all standards.
Travel
Geneva is the closest airport and is only 90 minuets drive away. Driving from Calais takes about 8 hours. Car hire is essential.
Further details
We are on the edge of the Portes du Soleil Ski and Mountain Bike area. Drouzin Le Mont is a small ski resort with 12 runs, which are perfect for a morning or afternoons skiing for the more experienced. It is also perfect for beginners or those gaining confidence, where you can ski away from the crowds and avoid lift queues. The lifts/slopes are a 5 minute walk. To the rear of the apartment is Mont Ouzon. It is about 2.5 hours walk from the apartment to the summit, this walk gives fantastic views of Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva there are many signed walks in the area for you to enjoy.
