This apartment is very comfortable, completely renovated and recently furnished with all mod-cons. It is possible to ski to from the door and you will ski down to the apartment at the end of your skiing - so there is no struggling to get on and off the piste. This beautiful apartment is on 2 floors. Upstairs comprises a double bedroom with ‘ceiling to floor’ window, TV and DVD player; twin bedroom with TV and Play Station 2, bathroom with walk-in shower with 9 shower heads, large basin, WC and a washer/dryer. Both bedrooms have their own storage. Downstairs is the kitchen/dining and living area. The kitchen was recently refitted and includes a dishwasher and full cooker. The extending dining table easily seats 6. The living area has a sofabed which comfortably sleeps 2 and there is another TV and DVD player. There is a ‘floor to ceiling’ window leading onto the balcony, great for cold beer. The apartment also has its own secure ski locker and lockable bike storage/cleaning room.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Sterling. Discounts are available for lets of longer than one week. Bed linen packs are available by post for UK bookings only from £35 per set of six.
Changeover day
Saturday. Arrrival after 3pm, departure before 11am.

Towels and linen are not included, (available locally). Linen can be provided prior to your holiday to take with you for a minimal charge. Duvets and pillows are at the apartment. The apartment is rented on the basis that you clean it on departure. |
Notes on accommodation
The apartment is suitable for individuals, couples and families with children, however there is a steep staircase where care should be taken. This is a no-smoking apartment.
Golf
There are two golf courses within walking distance, one 18, one 9 hole, and these are for summer only.
Skiing
Les Arcs is part of the Paradiski domaine which provides 264 miles (425km) of pistes. There are 161 lifts and the area is suitable for skiers of all abilities. As the resort is at such a high altitude, snow is guaranteed for the entire season. From the apartment you can walk 300m to the high capacity lift of Tranarcs, or ski down to the quieter chairlift of Jardin Alpin to get you started. Everything you will need is within 5 minutes walk, including lift passes, ski and boot hire shops and a great local bakery. Day trips by car to Val-d'Isere, Tignes or The Three Valleys are possible, and this is covered for a day with a six day Paradiski pass. If you want to do as much skiing as possible, and not waste time waiting for buses or driving Les Arcs is fantastic.
Travel
Geneva airport 2.5 hours, Lyon 2 hours, Chambery Airport 1.5 hours. By train take the Eurostar direct to Bourg-St-Maurice and then the Funicular up to Les Arcs in 7 mins. Driving time from Calais is 10 hours and 600 miles approx.
Distances
The town centre with all the amenities is a short 5 minutes walk from the apartment, or the local free buses can take you to the other resorts of Arcs 1600, 1950 and 2000.
Further details
Les Arcs 1800 is the liveliest of the three Arcs, with a good nightlife and a good range of amenities. There are two supermarkets as well as cosy little shops in the village where you can try the regional produce. Childcare facilities are available locally. There are friendly and welcoming bars and restaurants, where, after a good days skiing, drink in hand, you can sit and watch the sun disappear over the surrounding snow-capped mountains.
Booking notes
Prices are for the property per week in UK sterling. A booking/security deposit of £100 is required with the balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to occupation. The security deposit will be returned once the keys (and linen pack if taken) are returned. Special weekend rates are also available.
