Changeover day
Saturday to Saturday depart at 10am. Available from 4pm. Sunday changeover would be considered subject to other bookings

Notes on accommodation
The residence of Le Meteor is a privately owned building, it is not a typical holiday company property. Although set in a quiet part of the resort it is only a few minutes walk to the old town and the main centre. Local facilities are excellent.
Outside
The south facing private balcony has great views over the valley.
Golf
There is a small golf course in Alpe D Huez only a short walk from the flat.
Skiing
50m to the chairlift to Les Bergers or the 'bucket' to the Grand Rousse. You can ski back to the apartment from the lift. The sunny winter/summer resort of Alpe d'Huez is set high in the Grande Rousses mountains. This high altitude resort 1800m guarantees snow on the 245km of slopes, 600 snow cannons, including the longest run in Europe. La Sarenne 16km. Alpe d'Huez is the 5th largest ski area in France linking villages of Vaujany, Oz, Villard Reculas, Auris-en-Oisans and Deux Alpes are accessible with the same lift pass. Excellent mountain access for non-skiers with many marked walks.

Travel
Grenoble airport 1½ hour. Chambery airport 2 hours. Geneva airport 3 hours. Lyon airport 2 hours. Calais 9 hours drive. Nice 5 hours drive. Follow the motorway to Grenoble and follow signs to Sisteron, Gap. Take exit no.8 Gap, Briancon, Vizille/Stations de l'Oisans which joins the RN85, then the RN91 to Bourg d'Oisans.
Distances
Bourg d'Oisans is a 20 mins drive. Its a little longer by bike! Grenoble 1 hour. 2 Alpes 1 hour drive.

The resort offers a wealth of amenities including a superb Sports Centre. 25m swimming pool, climbing wall, gym, tennis courts, table tennis, basketball, football, badminton. The use of a outdoor heated swimming pool summer and winter, ice skating rink which are all free with full area lift pass. There are a wide variety of high quality restaurants. A vast choice of lively bars, clubs with lots of live music. 2 cinemas, shops, banks, museum. Classical concerts at the Notre Dame des Neiges (church).
Booking notes
Booking is accepted upon receipt of non-refundable deposit of 40% of total (in the event of cancellation deposit can only be returned once the booked week is filled). Balance of payment is payable 8 weeks before arrival date together with security deposit £150.
