This private, newly renovated ground floor apartment is perfectly situated in the quiet and charming Les Bossons area of Chamonix, 5 minutes from the ski lifts and 10 minutes from the centre of town. The chalet has stunning views of Mont Blanc, a garden, off street parking and a garage for equipment storage. The accommodation is newly refurbished to a high specification to create a warm, modern apartment. There are wooden floors, under floor heating throughout and modern alpine furnishings.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 spacious master bedroom has a double bed.
Bedroom 2 with twin beds designed to push together to create a 2nd double bedroom if required.
Bathrooms: The bathroom has both shower and bath, a washing machine/tumble dryer and also a full height heated drying rail.
Kitchen: Brand new kitchen fitted in the open plan living area with all new appliances (including Smeg cooker, dishwasher, microwave and 2 fridges).
Utility Room: Garage for car and storage of outdoor equipment and boots etc.
Living Rooms: Bright, open space made up of a comfortable living area (with sofa bed for additional guests), dining area and kitchen (see above).

linen/maid service:
Towels and linen packs are available at the cost of £22/double and £11/single for the week. The apartment is cleaned between visit which is not chargeable.

Accessibility
The apartment is accessed by its own front door to the garden. There is one step up at the entrance to the apartment.

Outside
There is an enclosed garden with outdoor dining furniture, and a parking space by the front door. Should you want additional friends to join your party, there is also a chalet opposite offering B&B or half board or alternatively, there are also 3 campsites close by (mainly summer although winter camping facilities are also catered for if your friends are feeling hardy). Please enquire for more information.

Skiing
There are 5 main ski areas in Chamonix and it is useful to have a car to get around. The resort caters for this with large car parks at each of the main lifts. 5 mins by car to Les Houches which is good for families and has a lot of tree-lined skiing. 5 mins by car to Brevent which is sunny south facing, with plenty of blues, reds and blacks. 10 mins by car to Flegere which joins up with Brevent ski area. 15 minutes by car to Argentiere/Grand Montets renowned for its off piste and late season closure. 15 mins by car to Le Tour or la Balme with its wide open bowls and quieter slopes.

Travel
50 mins drive from Geneva Airport. If hiring a car, it is easier to hire from the Swiss side as they already have the motorway toll stickers provided. Easy minibus transfers available from the airport from 25 euros one (please contact for website company addresses). 8 hours from the Channel tunnel (driving time).

Distances
The apartment is 10 mins drive from the centre of Chamonix. Alternatively there is a regular bus service into the centre of Chamonix (and to Les Houches in the other direction) which stops 30m from the chalet.

Further details
Chamonix is a beautiful, friendly town which is busy all year round. In addition to skiing, winter activities also include: snowshoeing, cross country skiing, ski touring, dog-sledding and ice skating. Chamonix also offers a wide variety of summer activities including: rock climbing, paragliding, cannoning, rafting, mountain biking, hiking, mountaineering and golf. Finally, there is also an excellent year round sports complex offering swimming pools, climbing wall, squash, tennis, keep fit and spa facilities, not to mention a superb ice-rink. In addition, for those who wish to explore further afield or try out other ski resorts, the Italian resort of Courmayeur is just 30 mins drive away through the Mont Blanc tunnel, and various Swiss resorts such as Verbier just over 1 hour.

Payment of £200 deposit at time of booking. Full payment 8 weeks before travel. There is also a damage deposit of £100 which is repayable in full subject to the check out inspection.
