Each gite is fully equipped with Satellite TV and its own enclosed garden. In the games room is pool table, table tennis, darts, a small gym and lots more. Le Perat is 20 minutes from the beach.

Our changeover day is Saturday, arriving from 3pm vacating by 11am.

The accommodation sleeps 5 people and is well equipped with everything to make your holiday comfortable. Entrance to lounge/diner with comfortable settees, table and chairs, Satellite TV, DVD Player and radio cassette/CD. Kitchen which is equipped to a very high standard, dishwasher, full size cooker, microwave, washing machine and fridge freezer. French doors to private garden Bedroom one has bunk beds, a single bed and a wardrobe. Bedroom two has a double bed and a wardrobe. Bathroom - bath with shower over, wash basin and WC. Separate WC. All bed linen tea towels and towels (except beach towels) are provided. Outside is a lovely private garden, with table and chairs, swinging hammock, sun loungers a BBQ, with access via a gate to the 3 acre of shares garden with pool. |

Apartment (1 Bedroom, Sleeps 4)

Our apartment is situated in the main house. It has a double bedroom with king-size bed. A sitting room with a double bed settee and table and chairs. The bathroom has a bath, separate shower, w.c. and basin. In the kitchenette is a fridge, electric hob, microwave, sink, iron, ironing board etc , washing facilities are available in the main house. You will also have the use of all the outside facilities, including the BBQ, games room and swimming pool. If you have small children or a baby, a single bed, a cot, hight chair, push chair, even a potty is available. There is a CD player, a TV with a DVD player but sorry no satellite but we do have lots of DVD for you to watch. |

Notes on accommodation
The gites have central heating and our two bedroom gite has a wood burner, we have satellite TV and storage facilities, making our properties ideal for long winter let.
Outside
Each gite has its own enclosed garden with access via a gate to the shared three acre grounds, there is volley ball, football, swings, boule and in the games room is table tennis, pool table, darts, a small gym and lots more. You will also find bikes in the games rooms for you to use. Set in the grounds is a 10m x 5m swimming pool and sun terrace, with sun loungers and table and chairs. Even though you have your own BBQ in your private garden another BBQ is available in the main garden.
Coast/Beach
The Charente Maritime is everything you could ever want in a holiday. Sandy beaches that go on for miles, with interesting coves and calm waveless family bathing spots to the fiercest surf for the sporty. A wonderful climate second only to the Cote d' Azur with up to twice as much sunshine as the UK and most months 20-30 degrees warmer. St Jean d'Angely has an excellent water park with 5 swimming pools, water slides etc.
Golf
There are 3 excellent golf courses, Royan Saintes and Cognac all within a short drive. Your rounds of golf will be booked in advance and you will be given details and directions to the courses. Your stay will include breakfast. Evening meal is also available. You can book a weekend or a week with as many rounds of Golf as you like, you decide, the choice is yours. Distances
You can take a boat trips down the Charente River which runs through the town where there are lovely parks, bars and cafès which run along its banks. There is also canoeing, kayaking, pedaloes and fishing; Here you'll find lovely old buildings and cobbled streets, lots of quaint shops, bars, cafés and restaurants. There is a market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
Further details
With an abundance of history Pons, Saintes and Rochefort are all within easy reach, or if you prefer La Rochelle and Royan with its many restaurants serving the finest food and wine. The vineyards famous for Cognac and Pineau are a sight to behold and the tasting is ever better. A tour of the many Cognac houses is a must. Saintes is a beautiful Roman town with wonderful architecture, narrow streets, interesting shops and street cafes.
