Changeover day
During the high season changeover day is normally Saturday. Check out time is 10am and check in time after 4pm. Out of season arrival and departure days flexible. We offer accommodation all year. Small parties welcomed, please request rates.

Notes on accommodation
Out of season we offer villa accommodation for smaller parties at first floor including use of private pool etc. Rental rates and availability on request. Garden apartment with one double bedroom sleeping 2 people has own private south facing garden.

Outside
The private 'L' shaped pool (which is approximately 45m squared) and heated for Spring and Autumn comfort is serviced daily, along with the patio areas. The pool is walled and fenced for safety of young children. There is a fully equipped summer kitchen with dining area with large gas barbecue, fridge/freezer, full sized cooker, hot and cold water and plenty of garden furniture. The pool is serviced daily between 8am and 9am and again at 9pm when it is covered.
Coast/Beach
There are a choice of beaches all within a few kms of the villa. Grau d'Agde beach is the closest and has a cycle track from the villa. There is also a 8km stretch of golden sandy beach between Agde and Sete. The beaches are family friendly - plenty of facilities and safe bathing.
Golf
Golf de Nīmes-Campagne is reputed to be one of the most beautiful private golf courses in France - 18 hole with 5 star classification. Golf de Saint-Thomas, Beziers 18 hole for all levels of player. It has woods, hills and stretches of water (close to Beziers, Pezenas and the canal du midi). Golf du Cap d'Agde, 18 hole landscaped by Ronald Fream - remarkable greens guarded by bunkers (close to the largest beach resort in France).
Skiing
Skiing 2hrs plus drive to the Pyrenees - good family skiing, small friendly resorts some with challenging runs.

Special interest holidays
By arrangement, we are able to provide French conversation classes, sketching, painting (oil and water colour) classes.
Travel
For summer 2009 Ryanair has services to Beziers Airport (10 mins from the Villa) from Stansted and Bristol. Flights to Carcassonne, Montpellier, Nimes, Perpignan and Girona have rail links to Agde. There is also a Eurostar link to Lille/Paris and TGV to Montpellier/Agde/Beziers. Agde Station is in the centre of the town. To see this area to the fullest a car is recommended. Remember this is the largest wine producing area in the world and you'll be truly amazed at the price and quality.
Distances
The villa is a very pleasant 10 minute stroll along the banks of the river Herault into the centre of Agde or you can use the cycle track into the town. The area is surrounded with places of interest to visit, medieval cities, lakes, mountains, vinyards, Cathar country and of course Spain, just a couple of hours drive away.
Further details
For shopping there is a Hype U shopping mall 0.5km from the villa and a smaller supermarket just down the road. Restaurants abound and very good quality menus will cost between 17 and 24 euros per head. Plats du jour start at around 10 euros. Details of our favourite restaurants are in our information pack in the villa. Family activities are numerous during the season, horseriding, sailing and wind surfing, tennis, paragliding, naturist beaches, canoeing and boat hire and cruises on canal du midi which is in the centre of Agde. During the evening in the season the town of Agde provides open air concerts and strolling jazz bands, art exhibitions traditional French markets and the most amazing firework displays. There is truly something for all ages and tastes.

Owners live in Agde. Contact them directly for availability and bookings. A 30% deposit is required with reservation, balance payable 8 weeks before arrival.
