With its 5 spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, large living accommodation, covered terrace and 2 pools, it is ideally suited for 2 families or a large group to explore the beautiful countryside of the Lot and Dordogne. Situated 18km north of Cahors and 23km south of Gourdon, an attractive medieval town, it is the perfect base from which to visit Rocamadour (a World Heritage site), St Cirq Lapopie and both the Lot and Dordogne rivers. Walking, cycling, horse riding, canoeing and golf are all accessible. The nearest village with all amenities is just 4km away, including a lake for swimming, boating and fishing.

Bed linen and bath towels are included. Please bring pool towels. Change of linen on request at a small charge payable locally. The house is cleaned on every changeover but we do request that our customers leave the property as they find it. |

Travel
A20 autoroute from Paris, junction 57, is 10 mins by car. Le Belvedere is served by the following airports, all of which are approx 1½ hour’s drive. Toulouse, Rodez and Bergerac. Limoges and Carcassonne are 2/3 hours away. Use of a car is definitely recommended.

Further details
St Denis-Catus has a small bar and restaurant. Catus has all amenities, including a boulangerie, small supermarket, post office, butchers plus a couple of restaurants, tourist office and a weekly market. Just the other side of Catus is the large fishing and boating lake. It is surrounded by woods and there are also tennis courts, a children's play area, pedaloes for hire and a restaurant overlooking the lake. The department of the Lot is full of interesting villages and beautiful countryside. Visit the numerous chateaux which produce the famous 'black' Cahors wine, canoe on the Lot river and admire the fantastic limestone cliffs along the way, take a trip down into the caves of Gouffre de Padirac or Pech Merle with its prehistoric paintings or buy the local produce of foie gras , walnuts or an abundance of fruit and vegetables at one of the weekly bustling markets.

We require a deposit of 25% to secure the booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to the arrival date.

House swap
Changeover days in July and August are Saturdays. This is negotiable at other times of the year. Guests are requested to arrive after 4pm and leave before 10am on the day of departure.
