Skiing
The residence is located at the bottom of the Route du Boude, approximately 50m from the village centre and the Super Chatel gondola. It is possible to ski back to the apartment block. Chatel has an impressive local domain. It is also part of the massive Portes du Soleil ski domain - the largest international linked ski area in the world with over 650 km of pistes in both France and Switzerland, and a superb snow record.
Travel
Chatel and the Portes du Soleil are within easy reach of the UK. It is one of the most northern of the French and Swiss Alpine ski areas and is only an hour and a half from Geneva Airport. This makes it an attractive destination for both flying and driving.
