The flat is a good size with 2 proper bedrooms including built in storage cupboards, lounge with 2 sofas (1 converts into a double bed if required) and dining table, separate well equipped kitchen (handy if using the sofabed), bathroom (inc shower), separate WC and a nice sunny balcony with great views over the Mont Blanc range. A strong point of the property is its location: 5 mins walk to either the telecabine or the town centre. Directly opposite the building are ski hire, boulangerie, and a tabac. There is a ski locker and free private parking.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday, but we will try to be flexible if required. Arrival and departure times are fairly flexible, let us know your needs.

The property is non-smoking.
Accessibility
On the second floor the flat is accessible via a small lift or the stairs. There are 3 or 4 steps in the building foyer. Car parking is directly outside the building.
Golf
There are golf courses in Megeve and Chamonix valleys.
Skiing
St Gervais connects directly into the Megeve ski system via the telecabine (5 mins walk from the flat), but this is only 1 choice from the enormous variety of options available. With a car you can be in Les Contamines in less than 20 mins (popular with off piste guides after fresh snow), and Chamonix in under 30 mins. Argentiere is about 45 mins, La Flegere is between the two. Another possibility is to take the historic Train de Mont Blanc from St Gervais centre and ski down into Les Houches. There really is something for everyone from beginner to expert.
The local ski school meets at Bettex which is at the top of the St Gervais telecabine, so beginners can get to classes without having to put on skis.
Ski school, off piste guides and all sorts of adventurous activities can be booked at the excellent tourist office in the town centre.
Travel
Geneva is a 45 minute drive away, car hire is recommended but not essential. In season the TGV stops in La Fayet which is a 10 min cab ride from St Gervais.
Distances
The property is in the centre of St Gervais. Outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts a short walk away, likewise indoor skating rink. Megeve and Chamonix both 20 mins away.
Further details
Bars, restaurants, banks, shops, supermarkets etc etc. all 5 mins walk from the flat. Health Spa 10 minute drive away in La Fayet (shuttle bus available). St Gervais is in the shadow of Mont Blanc so there is superb walking, climbing and moutaineering in every direction. One of the main ascent routes for Mont Blanc itself starts in St Gervais. Paragliding, canyoning, via ferrata and all manner of weirdness all available locally.
