La Bergerie is a fabulous newly built chalet completed in February 2006. It occupies a central position in the charming and traditional alpine village of La Plagne Montalbert at the bottom of the pedestrianised shopping street and base of ski slopes. It allows easy access to the ski lift, ESF ski school, nursery slope, creche, ticket and tourist information office in addition to shops, bars and restaurants. Ski in/out with outdoor access from ski locker room. La Plagne Montalbert is part of the La Plagne ski area which is linked to Les Arcs via the Vanoise Express cable link to form the Paradiski area, offering vast and varied skiing for all abilities. This luxury family owned 2 bedroomed 1st floor apartment has private balconies to both master bedroom and living room so you can enjoy wonderful, uninterupted views across the Tarantaise Valley and towards Mont Blanc. Well equipped and tastefully furnished in local alpine style, it affords a high level of comfort and convenience.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment has underfloor heating, as do internal communal areas. In addition should they be considered necessary, electric heaters are located in the bathroom, both bedrooms and living area. La Bergerie has both lift and stair access to all floors. The chalet is situated on the main pedestrianised street making it very safe and child friendly, as they do not have to cross any roads with moving traffic to reach the shops and slopes/chair lift/ski school. An external door from the ski locker room allows you to ski in/out avoiding the necessity to bring ski equipment into the apartment. It is possible to park vehicles on the roadside by the chalet.

Golf
Lots of outdoor activities are available. In summer these include horse riding, paraceurs, white water rafting, canoeing,walking, swimming, archery to name but a few!
Days out include Lake Annency, St Bernards Pass into Italy and Albertville.

Skiing
La Plagne Montalbert is one of 10 villages that make up the La Plagne ski area. Tree lined pistes hold the snow until late in the season and a network of snow cannions ensures slopes are skiable right down to the village at all times. A network of interconnecting chair lifts allows access to the topmost resorts and the Vanoise Express cable car takes you across the valley to enjoy the Les Arcs ski areas. Floodlit night skiing on one of the Montalbert slopes is arranged 1 night per week. There are several cross country tracks/trails around Montalbert. Snowboarders are also well catered for in the La Plagne/Paradiski area. Other activities include dog sleighing.
Montalbert remains a traditional (unlike many purpose built French resorts of the 1970's which contain ugly apartment blocks) friendly village which is extremely suitable for children. It offers all the ingredients needed to make for an enjoyable hasslefree skiing holiday.

We require a non-refundable deposit being 10%of the total holiday cost. The outstanding balance together with a refundable damage deposit of £200 is payable 8 weeks prior to holiday start date. (If booking after 8 weeks prior to the holiday start date the full amount, plus refundable damage deposit should be enclosed).
