The sunny terrace, courtyard is large, completely private and enclosed and has patio furniture for your use. This 3 bedroom house provides comfortable and spacious accommodation for 5. The property offers an ideal place to stay and enjoy the Mediterranean climate whilst exploring the magnificent area, the largest wine region in the world.

Changeover day
Changeover day is normally a Saturday. Other days may be possible on request.

Notes on accommodation
Due to the nature of the wrought iron and stone staircase to the first floor the property is not sutable for small children or people with disabilities.

Coast/Beach
There are numerous, beautiful, child friendly and more natural beaches within a realistic, 25 min drive away eg. Valras and Vendres. Cap d'Agde (35 mins by car) has further beaches and water sports, boat trips, a beautiful harbour, casino, fashionable shopping, nightclubs, waterfront restaurants, a water park (Aqualand) and a marine museum.
Golf
There is a number of good quality, golf courses within easy reach of Cazouls. Golf Saint-Thomas near Beziers is the closest within a 10 min drive away. There is also a golf course at Lamalou-les-Bains which is set amongst the foothills of this pretty spa town.
Travel
Budget airlines regularly fly to Montpellier, Perpignan, Carcassone and Nimes which are all just in excess of an hour's drive away. There is also easy access by train from Beziers (a 10 mins drive away) to Montpellier, Perpignan and Nimes. Car hire or the use of a car is recommended to be able to fully explore the surrounding areas.
Distances
The countryside around Cazouls offers many opportunities as being ideally situated within short driving distances for cycling, rambling, fishing and climbing in the hills of the Languedoc. The Canal du Midi is a ten minute drive away. The interesting village of Roquebrun and the historic town of Pezenas can easily be reached within a half an hour's drive. Skiing in the Pyrennees is just 2 hours drive away.
Further details
It is 5 mins walk from the house to the centre of the village which has 2 cafes and a hotel/restaurant. There are also hairdressers, boulangeries, a bucherie and a pharmacy in the streets surrounding the village square which hosts a small market 3 times a week. There is also a tourist information centre and a large supermarket on the edge of the village on the road going out towards Beziers. The surrounding villages all have a variety of interesting and gourmet restaurants within a few minutes drive, not to mention the many, wineries where wine can be sampled and bought.
Booking notes
A 25% deposit is required on booking. The balance to be paid 6 weeks before the holiday. A £200 deposit for breakages will also be required on booking. This will be fully refundable when the house is checked, immediately after departure.
