This is a charming 3 bedroom apartment in the Quartier Latin, near Pantheon, Jardin du Luxembourg, rue Mouffetard, a vibrant area. Several buses (21, 27, 83, 91, 47) and metro Censier-Daubenton lead quickly everywhere in Paris: Louvre, Opera, Beaubourg, the Marais. It's a very friendly neighbourhood. Most of the people living in the building are good friends of ours. It's a lively place, full of cafes and small restaurants that are open over the weekend. A typical left bank atmosphere but not a posh one, more family like, many students around because of La Sorbonne and top French high schools. The rue Mouffetard (3 mins walk) is a typical French street, with its traditional outdoor fruit and vegetable markets, cheese shops and typical bakeries and groceries. A bustiling farmers’ market runs at Place Monge (5 mins walk) 3 times a week. Saint-Germain, La Seine and Notre-Dame are 15 min walk. A perfect place for enjoying the Parisian way of life of the Left Bank.

Further details
It's like a 'village': the street market on the pedestrian rue Mouffetard, 3 min walk, offers all you need: groceries, cheese shops, fruits, vegetables, bakeries, a Greek deli, a delicious Italian and a Chinese take-away, as well as supermarkets and cafés and restaurants. There are several drugstores near the apartment, and banks too, in the rue Claude Bernard. There is a pleasant and wide swimming pool, 10 min walk, if you like to improve your stamina. If you like yoga, you can attend excellent yoga courses at Rasa Yoga (21 rue St Jacques). Jogging is very agreeable in Jardin du Luxembourg. A lot of cinemas are near Odéon-la Sorbonne (10/15 min walk). Plenty of shops are on Bd St Michel and Bd st Germain, or near the beautiful Place St Sulpice (15 min walk through Jardin du Luxembourg). Enjoy a French breakfast or lunch at Le Rostand, opposite Jardin du Luxembourg (in winter, there is a huge fireplace inside the cafe, and you can stay there reading or chatting near the the fire). Actually, you can walk most of the time in a very beautiful area, with ancient buildings, or you can take the buses, which are very frequent. You can cross the Seine with buses 21 or 27 and enjoy the most famous scenery of Paris (Notre-Dame, Ile St Louis, bridges). Anyway, the life is very pleasant in this area and I like it very very much. I spent 10 years in this area, enjoying the friendly and quiet atmosphere (usually, Paris is noisy and busy), walking or using my bike.
