Dubon is a small, friendly family run holistic mind-body-spirit holiday centre in Gascony. Our newly restored fully equipped 3 bedroom barn conversion is available for family holidays. Overlooking the swimming pool and sun terrace, you are sure to have a relaxing time, we even have a hydrotherapy spabath in the garden. All bedlinen is provided for your let. Open plan kitchen/diner/sitting room with light and airy atmosphere. While at Dubon why not treat yourselves to an aromatherapy or hot stone massage (ladies only) or an aura reading with photo! Many resident animals, child friendly animals(we have children of 11 and 6 years old ourselves) - dogs, cats, chickens, miniature sheep, pot bellied pig, subsequently not ideal for very young children below 5 years of age. Additional summer kitchen area where you can prepare your meals in the shade overlooking the pool and gardens. B&B available also.

We supply one set of bedlinen for the week. Towels available for hire. Please bring your own pool towels as these are not available for hire. The gite must be left clean and tidy as found on arrival, and you can opt to have the gite cleaned for you. |
Notes on accommodation
Being an old farm type environment, with animals and varied terrain, we do not recommend our venue for young children of 5 and under, sorry!
We also provide en-suite accommodation in our quaint converted colombage bread oven for 60 euros per night for 2 people or 40 euros for 1 person.

26 acres of fields, woodland and gardens with varied outdoor facilities. 10 x 5m salt water family pool with two depths to 1.5m. Shared with the owners. Summer kitchen area with extended catering facilities. Badminton and table tennis.
Coast/Beach
Fantastic sandy Atlantic beaches approx. 1hr30mins away, but a nice day trip.
Golf
18 hole course at Eauze, just 15 minutes by car. Auch, Marciac and Mont de Marsan provide further options.

Travel
Flights to Pau 1 hours drive, Bordeaux 1hr45, Biarritz 1hr30 and Toulouse <2hrs. We strongly recommend car hire in order that you can explore this beautiful area. We are nestled between the vineyards of Bas Armagnac, in a tranquil setting.
Spanish border 1hr30mins.
Distances
Nearest village with shop, boulangerie, charcuterie etc 5 mins drive. Supermarket 5 mins. The regional food and wine of Gascony is second to none, and there are many weekly markets selling delicious local produce. Courses Landaises (no-kill bullfighting) throughout the summer season, a must see event.
There is horseriding 15 mins away, motor racing at the famous Nogaro race track 15 mins away, tennis 5 mins, thermal baths 15, 30 and 50 mins from Dubon. Local leisure lakes and waterparks.
Further details
This area of Gascony is covered with vineyards and sunflowers and is a truly peaceful place to getaway from it all, but from here still visit the sea, mountains and Spain within approx. 1hr30 minutes drive. Other great day trips include: Lourdes, Biarritz, the Spanish side of the Pyrenees. An abundance of wildlife including eagles, buzzards and deer. A good site for spotting rare birds for those interested in ornithology.
Booking notes
A deposit of one third is required to confirm the booking. The two thirds balance of any monies is due no later than two full months prior to your arrival date.
