This newly furnished apartment is situated on the second floor of a modern residence completed in 2006. The apartment, which is served by a lift, has a spacious balcony with stunning views over the surrounding mountains. There is a ski locker located on the entry level and plenty of car parking spaces immediately adjacent to the building. The apartment is a short walk from the ski lifts, shops, bars, and restaurants. The resort is an ideal location for families. Cars are not allowed in the village centre, making it safer to stroll around. There is also a ski school and a magic carpet that serves a nursery slope and a dedicated children's tobogganing area which are often lit at night. Two ski lifts out of the resort link a vast ski area of 245km (3300m) with 121 runs, including the longest ski run in the Alps, the Sarenne at 16km. There are enough runs to satisfy every level of skier. At the end of the day you can ski back to the resort, only 150m from the door of the apartment.

Skiing
Oz is a small, picturesque mountain resort which links directly to Alpe D'Huez and forms part of the Massif des Grandes Rousses ski area (245km pistes; 121 runs, 84 lifts and 770 snowmakers) up to a height of 3300m at Pic Blanc. The resort of Oz is served by two gondola lifts which take you directly to a vast and varied ski area suitable for all levels of skier or boarder. Alpe D'Huez is also home to a good boarder-cross course, a 1.5km terrain park and a half pipe. There is an ESF ski school situated in the centre of Oz village that offers a range of lessons for all ages and levels of ability.
Travel
Grenoble/Isere airport (St Geoirs) 95km approx 1½ hour. Lyon (St Exupery) 145km airport approx 2 hours. Airport transfer available.
Distances
Bourg D'Oisans approx 20 mins. Les Deux Alpes ski resort approx 60 mins.
Further details
As well as numerous bars and restaurants, Oz ski station has a Tourist information office; indoor climbing wall; Sherpa supermarket; Credit Agricole cash machine, a boulangerie and news agents. There is also the 'Yeti bar' nightclub.
Booking notes
£250 deposit payable at time of booking. Remaining balance, plus £100 caution, required 8 weeks prior to departure. £100 caution will be returned after the rental period once the apartment has been checked and a full inventory taken. If the apartment is booked less than 8 weeks ahead of departure, full payment is required on booking. Cancellation policy: Up to 12 weeks: 90% refunded. 8-12 weeks: 50% refunded. 6-8 weeks: 25% refunded. Less than 6 weeks: no refund.
