Winter and the 'Fleet'

Chalet Flori occupies a beautiful elevated position only 10 mins walk from central Morzine with magnificent views over the valley. The large terrace is always popular for recounting the day's activities with fellow guests! Originally a traditional Savoyard farmhouse, Chalet Flori has been completely refurbished to provide characterful and comfortable accommodation. If all that sounds good - wait until you hear about the food! We have an enviable reputation for outstanding fayre. A hearty breakfast will get you started, afternoon tea will welcome you home and delicious 3 course evening meal including wine will ensure you end the day with a satisfied glow. Vegetarians and special diet requirements are very well catered for.

Skiing
With 650km of marked piste and 234 lifts all on 1 pass you can't beat Les Portes du Soleil for sheer excitement and variety of skiing. It is the largest ski and board area in Europe spanning 13 beautiful border resorts in both France and Switzerland (take a look at the piste map on the rear cover). So whether you are a beginner looking for gentle blues, or an adrenaline junkie looking for big thrills, Les Portes du Soleil has something for you.
Chalet Flori is located at the very heart of Les Portes du Soleil, so you can explore the entire region. Our own minibus will take you to Ardent, the best starting point. For those wanting to start the day later or return earlier, there is a regular free bus between Ardent and Morzine, which stops 50m from the chalet door.
We love skiing with our guests, usually we take the Ardent Bubble up to Les Linderets Plateau where we drop off anyone having Ski lessons. We can then choose whether to ski in Chatel, Avoriaz or Switzerland.

Travel
Flights are available from several UK airports to Geneva. The transfer time from Geneva is around 1 hour 15 mins.
Should you wish to make your own way to Morzine the accommodation price is all you have to pay. Driving to the resort is extremely easy. There is a motorway from Calais to within 30km of Morzine and the trip can be completed in approximately 8 hours. Detailed directions will be sent to you upon request.

Booking notes
A verbal option will be held for 5 working days. After that please send a written confirmation on behalf of the group, with the relevant payment to our French address. Online transactions and card patments can be confirmed by e mail. We will need to know of any special arrangements, diets etc. ASAP.
Cheques in UK Pounds or Euros are acceptable, as are bank transfers, please see payment options in the ‘bookings’ section of our website.
