Our large comfortable chalet and garden apartment is set in the charming alpine village of Cordon close to Megeve. From our elevated position a short walk from the village centre, you will enjoy the most magnificent panoramic views of Mont Blanc, the Alps and the Chamonix valley. The self contained apartment (50m2) is located on the ground floor, with access through french doors to garden and seating area. The apartment consists of an entrance hall, two bedrooms (one double and one twin), lounge, bathroom with bath and shower over and a separate WC. (Bunk beds are available to provide 3 beds in the twin room if required). The lounge has a double sofa bed, dining area and fitted corner kitchen with full cooker/oven. It is very comfortably furnished and well equipped. Bed linen, towels and electricity are included.

Skiing
Why not come in January when the the slopes are quiet and ski passes are reduced. In winter Cordon has it's own Ski area with green, blue and red runs set in spectacular scenery facing Mont Blanc. Our ski pistes are seldom crowded and very reasonably priced. Pistes at neighbouring Combloux and Megeve are only 10 -15 mins away by car giving a huge choice of skiing for all abilities. This is also a large variety of other ski areas within easy reach including the fabled 'Valley Blanche' at Chamonix. Ski school available in all resorts. Cordon is one of the 14 ski stations covered by the 'Pays du Mont Blanc' ski pass which takes in 700kms of pistes and 295 lifts reaching from 1000m to 3840m.
Travel
From Calais the motorway runs right through to Sallanches. The drive is 560 miles. The nearest International Airport is Geneva which is 50 mins on the motorway. Lyon is approx 2 hours. Geneva flights leave from all major UK airports. (Main airlines & Easyjet fly into Geneva). Car hire readily available.

Chamonix 25 mins. Annecy 50 mins. Geneva 45 mins. Megeve 15 mins. Sallanches 8 mins.

Cordon is an unspoilt Savoyard village with many working farms dating back to 1766 and wonderful alpine scenery. It has small shops, a good supermarket, ski hire, tourist office, bistro/pizzaria and hotel restaurants. A perfect location for spring, summer and winter holidays. A paradise for walkers and for exploring and relaxing in this beautiful region. There are endless places of interest to visit and activities for both young and old incuding cable cars, mountain railways, summer toboggans and numerous sporting activities.
