Our large comfortable garden apartment is set in the charming alpine village of Cordon, close to Megeve. From our elevated position a short walk from the village centre, you will enjoy unequalled magnificent panoramic views of Mont Blanc and the Alps. This is a perfect location for spring, summer and magical winter holidays. The self contained spacious apartment (50sq.m) is located on the ground floor, with access through french doors to garden. The apartment consists of an entrance hall, two bedrooms (one double and one twin), lounge, bathroom with bath and shower over and a separate wc. The lounge has a double sofa bed, dining area and fitted corner kitchen with full cooker/oven and dishwasher. It is furnished to a high standard and well equipped. Bed linen, towels and electricity are included.

Skiing
Cordon is one of the 14 ski stations covered by 'Pays de Mont Blanc' ski pass which takes in 700kms of pistes and 295 lifts reaching from 1000m - 3840m. It has green, blue and red runs set in spectacular scenery facing Mont Blanc, seldom crowded and reasonably priced.
The excellent ski areas of Megeve and Combloux are both only 10 mins away by car. The Megeve Princess cable car also links into the St Gervais pistes. Combloux is a very popular ski & snowboard station with high speed lifts and snow canons. There is a huge choice of pistes for every ability of skier - all set in magnificent scenery. English speaking ski schools available in all resorts. There are numerous other ski areas within easy reach including the fabled 'Valley Blanche' at Chamonix (as featured in James Bond!). Cordon is also an excellent location for non-skiers, offering walking on cleared paths, snow-shoe walking, sledging/tobogganing.
Travel
From Calais the motorway runs right through to Sallanches and then just 4 miles up into the mountains. The drive is 560 miles. The nearest International Airport is Geneva which is 50 mins on the motorway. Lyon is approx 2 hours. Geneva flights leave from all major UK airports. (Main airlines and Easyjet fly into Geneva). Car hire readily available.

Cordon is an unspoilt Savoyard village dating back to 1766 with wonderful alpine scenery. It has small shops, a good supermarket, boulangerie, ski hire, tourist office, bistros/pizzeria, cafes and hotel restaurants. The Cordonant (5 mins walk) and La Ruche (10 mins walk) are highly recommended. Cordon is perfect location for Spring, Summer and winter holidays. A paradise for walkers and a perfect central location for exploring this beautiful region. There are endless places of interest to visit and activities for both young and old including cable cars, mountain railways, summer toboggans, mountain biking and numerous sporting activities.
