The property is situated 3km from the historic Medieval Town of Domfront. The local village is just a 5 minute walk away. Central location for touring the historic sights of Normandy. The house is surrounded by its own private gardens, there are many places to sit and enjoy the natural surroundings. There is a play area with sand pit, swings, and assortment of toys for our younger guests. The Heated swimming pool 30x15ft is safely located in a private fenced off part of the garden. The 6 seater hot tub is indoors and can be used at any time of the year. We also provide bicycles. Spacious Games room with pool table and football table etc.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Prices include linen, towlels, heating, etc: We give a discount to anyone booking for 2 weeks. A breakages deposit of £100 or 100 euro is required on arrival and will be returned on day of departure.
Changeover day
Changeover day is a Saturday. During October to March we offer self contained apartment. We have found this can be very helpful to anyone looking to buy there own home in France.

Outside
There are 3 patio areas one next to the house and one, ideal for BBQ's, at the bottom of the garden. The pool area has table chairs and sun loungers. The Pool and hot tub are private and for your use only. There are pool games, vollyeball etc provided and a seating area next to the pool.
Coast/Beach
La Ferte Mace 15 mins away, has its own man made beach with sand, climbing frames, volleyball net and is a great day out with a picnic. The natural coast, Granville Carolles, etc, is about an hours drive away to the west. Sit and picnic on the beach with Mont St Michele in the background. Dine out on fresh 'fruits de mere'.
Golf
There is a 9 hole golf courses at Bagnoles de Lorne, 15mins away, and an 18 hole miniture golf course. If you want something a little more challenging you could visit the golf course at Clecy or the 27 links course at Granville or the lakeside parkland course at Vire. Travel
Ferries - L.D Lines Portsmouth to Le Havre. This is a budget priced ferry. Brittany Ferries, Portsmouth to Caen, Cherbourge, or St Malo.
Channel Tunnel.
Airports Dinard and Rennes.
Distances
Domfront, 3km is steeped in history. Saint-Fraimbault, 12 km the award winning flower village. Torchamp 9km for water sports. Bagnoles de L'Orne, the famous spar town with golf and casino. Flers, with water sports, ten pin bowling, shops supermarkets etc. All within a 15 mins drive.
Further details
The medieval town of Domfront ( just 3km away) with narrow streets and castle ruins dates back to the 11 century and was originally one of Frances strongholds, The castle grounds overlook the Varenne. Domfront has many fantastic restaurants, pizza houses and bars, where a warm welcome is assured from the locals. There is paintballing, go karting, rock climbing, kyaking, walking and cycle routes all within easy reach.
The famous spa town of Bagnoles-del-lorne is 22km away with casino, lake and spa and 9 hole golf course. In the main town of Flers there is a swimming complex, bowling alley, and some fantastic shops. Mortain has go karting,and other activities as well as boasting the highest waterfall in Orne. The Normandy/Orne region has a fantastic history the 15th & 16th century castles, manor houses and churches are well worth a visit. The forests and natural parks are all within reach of the house.
