The property is situated 3km from the historic Medieval Town of Domfront. The local village is just a 5 minute walk away. The house is surrounded by its own private gardens, there are many places to sit and enjoy the natural surroundings. There is a play area with sand pit, swings, and assortment of toys for our younger guests. The swimming pool 30x15ft is safely located in a private fenced off garden. The 6 seater hot tub is indoors and can be used at any time of the year. We also provide bicycles. New for 2009, games room with pool table and football table etc.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. From October - March we charge nightly rates only per room. We also give a discount to anyone booking for 2 weeks.
A breakages deposit of £100 is required on arrival and will be returned on day of departure.
Changeover day
Changeover day is a Saturday. During October to March we offer self contained room only service. We have found this can be very helpful to anyone looking to buy there own home in France.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 double bed and a hairdryer. Bedroom 2 twin beds. Bedroom 3 twin beds. |
| Bathrooms: | Upstairs is a shower room with WC and sink. Downstairs bathroom with bath, shower, WC, sink and bidet. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen dining room is very well equipped and includes dishwasher, microwave, cooker, coffee machine, washing machine fridge freezer etc. |
| Living Rooms: | In the living, dining room there is an open log fire, the furniture is comfortable and well thought out to keep in with the original features of the property, although there is a TV, with satellite DVD, video, CD player and radio. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen are included in price, but beach towels are needed for the pool area. |

Outside
There are 2 patio areas one next to the house and one, ideal for BBQ's, at the bottom of the garden. The pool and hot tub are private and for your use only. There are pool games, vollyeball etc provided and a seating area next to the pool.
Coast/Beach
La Ferte Mace 15 mins away, has its own man made beach with sand, climbing frames, volleyball net and is a great day out with a picnic. The natural coast, Granville Carolles, etc, is about an hours drive away to the west.
Golf
There are 2 golf courses at Bagnoles de Lorne, 15mins away, an 18 hole and 9 hole. If you want something a little more challenging you could visit the golf course at Clecy. There is a 27 links course at Granville or the lakeside parkland course at Vire.
Travel
Ferries - L.D Lines Portsmouth to Le Havre. This is a budget priced ferry Brittany Ferries, Portsmouth to Caen, Cherbourge, or St Malo. Speed Ferries, Dover to Bolougne.
Channel Tunnel. Airports Dinard and Rennes.
Distances
Domfront, has a selection of restaurants cafe/bars and is steeped in history. Saint-Fraimbault, the flower village. Torchamp for water sports. Bagnoles de L'Orne, the famous spar town with golf and casino. Flers, with water sports, ten pin bowling, shops supermarkets etc. All within a 15 mins drive.
Further details
The Normandy/Orne region has a fantastic history the 15th & 16th century castles, manor houses and churches are well worth a visit. The forests and natural parks are all within reach of the house.
