A family friendly chalet refurbished for the 07/08 season to high standard. Consists of 4 bedrooms and a family bathroom. Spacious open plan living, featuring a TV/DVD area with a selection of DVD’s; leather sofas surrounding a log burning fire; and a dining area seating 8. Two double bedrooms both with en-suite and 2 twin rooms all have comfortable beds, superior bedding, duvets and quality towels are supplied. A permanent cot and a travel cot are also provided. A well equipped kitchen offers you all you need to whip up a snack or try your hand at a traditional Savoyard 3 course meal! In the private garden you will find the Hot Tub (Winter only) for you to relax and soak away those aches and pains after a long days skiing! The ski lifts at Morillon are only a 4 minute drive away, whilst the ski lift at Samoens is only 8 minutes. The ski bus is a 5min walk, which takes you to the ski lift at Morillon whisking you up to the Grand Massif Ski Area, offering you an amazing 265km of piste.

Skiing
Chalet Chamot is situated in the village of Verchaix. Only 1 hour drive from Geneva airport and 4 mins drive to the nearest ski lift in Morillon. Verchaix is situated between Samoens and Morillion and is an ideal base for you to explore the Grand Massof Ski Area, one of the largest linked winter-sports areas in the Alps and access to 265km of piste. It offers a wide variety of skiing for all abilities, & boasts a good snow record due to its geographical position. Furthermore Chalet Chamot is only a 20 min drive to the ski lifts at Les Gets offering you the chance to ski Morzine, Avoriaz and The Portes du Soliel, another 650km of piste to enjoy!
Travel
Chalet Chamot is only 1 hour from Geneva, served by all the major and budget airlines. Calais is approx a 9 hour drive, all motorway until Cluses, which is only 25 mins to Verchaix.
Further details
Verchaix has its own choice of restaurants and bars within walking distance, whilst a short drive into Samoens opens up a greater choice. The Supermarket ‘Champion’ is only a 4 minute drive away offering you all the choice you need for a self catering holiday. Petrol station is only 2 minutes away.
