Local village has shop, post office, bar and restaurant. 40 minutes from the Spanish border, and ski fields. 4 wheel drive and quad bike excursions available from local bar. Many other extreme sports available details on request, or just enjoy the traditional local area, and the peaceful location. Great for artists and bird-watchers (larger birds of prey). Also the popular site of Lourdes is approx 1 1/2 hours drive away in the Hautes Pyrenees region of South West France. Biarritz and surrounding coast line (great for surfing) are only 1 1/2 hours away.

La Pierre Saint-Martin is 45 mins by car. It is a small friendly family ski resort with 18 runs. Everything you need to hire is available from the resort.

Pau airport is 1 hour drive. Biarritz airport is 1½ hours drive. Both airports have car hire facilities. Hertz is normally the cheapest. Car is essential.
Distances
Nearest village is 5 mins drive. Large town is 25 mins drive and has huge supermarket.
