The Mill at Neuffons (Mill of the Nine Fountains) sits on its own small island on the river Drot. A private bridge takes you across the river to the downstairs terraces which are planted with palm trees, lavender and scented roses. There is a large roman style dipping pool to cool off in. Part of one of the terraces is covered and has a seating area where you can avoid the sun when it's too hot. The second floor has 3 ensuite bedrooms each with river views, and another small balcony for napping or reading. The top floor has an open plan living room, a cooks kitchen and another outdoor terrace for dining and seating.

Top quality linen and towels are included. If your stay is longer than one week all towels and sheets will be changed. When you arrive at the Mill there are fresh flowers a bottle of the local wine and some home made jam. |
Notes on accommodation
The Mill is not suitable for toddlers. The Mill is non-smoking except on the outside terraces.

The Mill is not suitable for wheelchair users. Sorry.
Outside
The Mill has three terraces all planted with lavender and roses, there are also two covered balconys, lots of outdoor furniture and a barbecue on the top terrace. The town of Monsegur is 5 mins away with a very large outdoor swimming pool and six all weather tennis courts.
Coast/Beach
It is an easy drive to the wonderful sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast, and the Dune of Pyla, about 1 hour 30 mins.
Golf
Chateau de Vigiers has excellent golf 20 mins away. There are also courses at Marmande and Langon.
Special interest holidays
Wine tasting trips to local Chateaux are easy to arrange.
Travel
45 mins to Bergerac and 1hr to Bordeaux Airport.

Further details
The town of Monsegur 5 mins away has restaurants, cafes, banks, post office, boulangerie and a selection of other shops. One of the restaurants has Jazz night on Tuesdays, The local market is on Fridays.The countryside is wine country so vineyards as far as the eye can see.
