Central for Les Arcs, La Plagne, St Foy, Val d'Isere, Tignes and La Rossiere. The chairlift to Les Arcs 2000 is a 5 mins drive. Transport can be provided to and lifts for catered clients at a time to suit you. 5 bedrooms sleeping up to 13. For catered accommodation flexible length of stay, minimum 2 nights. Boot warmers, ski storage and chalet sledges available. Free use of chalet computer wi-fi. We can ski with you to show you the best slopes, restaurants. Ski/boot hire available at the chalet. In the Summer, walking, climbing, mountain biking, golfing, white water rafting and many other sporting activities. Or just relax on the balcony with a glass of wine, taking in the views.

Notes on prices
Prices from May to December are for the property self catered. From December 14th. the prices are catered per person, per week. New Year and half term are only available as catered. For Self-catered prices per week please contact us. Prices are in UK Pounds. For catered guests the charge is £75 per night for a minimum of 2 nights. Children under 1 yrs. sharing room with parents free. Children aged 1-3yrs £75, Children 4-11 £200 off adult prices. (12 yrs and over - full price).
Changeover day
For catered bookings time of arrival and depature is completely flexible to enable you to make the most of the budget flights. Self catered accommodation - the changeover day will usually be a Saturday/Sunday with arrival time to meet you travel plans.

Notes on accommodation
The chalet has 3 floors. Guests with very young children are advised to discuss their requirements directly with the owner. The double sided wood burner heats the middle floor and there are electric thermostatically controlled heaters throughout the chalet.
For catered guests, breakfast and evening 4 course meal, unlimited quality wine is included in the price. Smi catered, shopping service ,available for self catered guests.
Accessibility
As the property is on 3 floors unfortunately it has not been possible to make adjustments for guests with mobility problems.
Outside
The chalet has a grassed garden with barbecue and outdoor furniture available for the use of guests in the summer. There is an outdoor hot tub. There is a balcony off the dining and lounge areas. The kitchen area also has a balcony which is suitable for dining use during the warmer months. There is ample free parking. The snow plough visits when required during the winter months, snow chains are required.
Coast/Beach
There are many lakes within a short drive from the chalet.
Golf
Golf courses can be found at Tignes and Les Arcs 1800. These are 30 mins drive and open in the Summer months.
Skiing
The chalet is at a height of 1150 metres. It is a short 5 minute drive to Le Pre where the lift is taken up to Arc 2000, with access to Les Arcs and La Plagne via the Vanoise Express. With over 400kms of piste there is something to suit all experience levels. There is the option to ski back down a 7km run finishing at the local bar.
St Foy, is a small family resort, ideal for beginners. It has some of the best off piste sking around and is a 15 minute drive.
La Rosiere, Tignes and Val d'Isere are all a 30 minute drive.
The snow plough visits early every day when required in winter, however, snow chains are essential for winter visitors.
We will be pleased to ski with you, if you wish, and show you the best runs and restaurants.
We can arrange for your ski hire equipment to be delivered to the chalet, saving valuable ski time. Advice on guiding and lessons can be provided on request.
Travel
The ferry ports are a 9-12 hour drive away. Geneva and Lyon Airport 2hr 15min drive. Grenoble 2 hours, Chambrey is a 1.5 hour drive. Snow chains are essential in winter. Bus transfers are available to Bourg St Maurice. Alternatively the Eurostar, and snow train come into Bourg St Maurice rail station, 15 minutes from the chalet. We can arrange to pick up guests from Bourg St Maurice. An overnight sleeper coach service from London each week arrives in Moutiers early Saturday morning.
Distances
Bourg St Maurice, for supermarkets, is a 20 minute drive from the chalet. The Bakery is a ten minute drive. Bars and restaurants 5 minute drive.
Further details
There are a number of local restaurants which we can recommend, the closest being a 5 minute drive at the bottom of the ski slope. Many of our guests enjoy a beer here at the end of the days skiing before returning for dinner at the chalet. Transport can be arranged from Bourg St Maurice and to and from the nearest ski lift at Le Pre.
For summer visitors there is mountain biking, walking on marked paths from the chalet. There is white water rafting and canoeing available locally. Or just relax in the quiet of the chalet.
Booking notes
For self catered guests, bookings are for 1 week from Saturday - Saturday. Catered guests can book from a minimum of 2 nights from £75 per night. A deposit is payable on booking with the outstanding amount due for payment 10 weeks prior to your holiday. For last minute bookings full payment is required. Payments are made direct into a UK bank account with confirmation being made on receipt of payment.

About the owner
Dick and Wendy are from North and South Wales originally. Having skied for a number of years they decided to purchase a chalet in the Alps.
We have renovated the property to a high standard and have now decided to take advantage of the property, and base ourselves in France.
We enjoy, entertaining and having guests to stay. We welcome you to our home, and do everything possible to ensure you have a holiday tailored to meet your individual requirements.
