This is our second home and has been recently fully refurbished to high standard and is very well equipped with every home comfort. There is ample storage in the apartment and ski/boot storage in the cave. The kitchen and bathroom have been refitted with top quality fittings. The main bedroom has a very comfortable double bed and the second bedroom has 3ft substantial bunk beds with comfortable sprung mattresses. There is a large south facing balcony, ideal for sunbathing and taking in the breathtaking views and air. Due to the resort's high altitude, skiing is available all year round. Deux Alpes also has the largest snow park in Europe. The resort has a lot to offer people of all ages both during the winter and summer seasons. It has a large resident community who are extremely welcoming and friendly. There are lots of good restaurants and bars, a few nightclubs for the younger age group - all in all a good all round resort.

Notes on prices
Prices are for week in UK Pounds and include meet and greet and utilities. Holding deposit of £100 upon booking with full payment 2 months before arrival. Security deposit payable on arrival to keyholder refunded on departure minus cleaning and bed linen fee. Ski passes, lessons, off piste guiding, equipment hire, helicopter etc can all be arranged. Winter Season: early Dec - last weekend April. Summer Season: mid June - end of August.
Changeover day
Preferable changeover Saturday but we are flexible during non-peak times.

| Living Rooms: | Picturesque view from the lounge over Venosc valley and the Muzelle mountain. Leather sofa plus rocking chair, coffee tables etc. Flat screen TV and DVD. (Some DVDs available but you could bring your own). Radio/CD player. Dining table and 6 chairs. |
| Other: | Parking available outside the apartment. The apartment is chalet style in a block of 4 privately owned (see photograph). There are stairs to the apartment which is slightly elevated. Outside lighting on the south west facing balcony. |

Notes on accommodation
The apartment building is wooden chalet style with just 4 apartments in the chalet. The cave/ski storage for the apartment is on the ground floor with the apartment being on the first floor, reached by means of a wooden staircase to the balcony. There are other similar size apartments available for rental in the same road if you are part of a group. We also own another smaller apartment which sleeps up to 4 people (2 double and 2 single beds) in another part of the resort situated on the piste (ski to the door during winter) at a lower rental. Accessibility
There is no lift and there are steps to the front of the chalet.
Outside
South west facing, good size balcony attracting all day sunshine. During the summer, patio table and chairs provided - a wonderful quiet place to sit, enjoy the stunning mountain views, take in the clean air and sunbathe. Our favourite spot for an apres-ski aperitif!

There is a small golf course open during summer months
Skiing
Les Deux Alpes village is at 1650 and has a large amount of skiing from 1300m - 3600m suitable for all abilities. In particular the runs on the glacier are wide and suitable for beginners and intermediates. he more challenging runs are mainly coming back down to the village. The snow park is the largest in Europe and has a huge variety of jumps, runs and half-pipes etc. During the summer there is glacier skiing, mountain biking, paragliding, festivals and lots of other sports and events. There is a skating rink and outdoor swimming pool. Add to this a huge range of apres-ski options and the lift-linked descent to La Grave, and you have a very special destination.
Special interest holidays
Apart from all the usual ski and snowboard activities, during the summer months, there are a wide variety of other activities such as mountain biking, fishing, bugee jumping, golf, paragliding, white water rafting etc plus there is a large skateboard ramp, tennis, a small golf course and other various sporting activities. The walks are also beautiful and the resort lays on a whole range of activities which vary from week to week.
Travel
Nearest airports are Lyon and Grenoble with regular flights from all the UK airports to both. Bus links from both airports plus car hire available - you could be at the resort in under 2 hours from Lyon.
You could also fly to Chambery, St Etienne, Geneva and Turin.
Les Deux Alpes is approximately 7-8 hour drive from Calais and easily accessible by car.

Valloire 62km. Montgenevre and the Italian Alps 74km.

You will be met by our very helpful key holder who will be on hand during your stay in case of any queries. She can arrange a variety of activities, transfers and/or provide resort information. To arrange ski lessons in advance with English instructor please contact me for 'easiski' website address. The apartment is only a short walk from all shops, restaurants, bars etc - there is a supermarket, pattisserie, butcher all close by and there is nothing nicer than popping up for your fresh bread and croissants each morning. We can recommend the very local 'L'Etable' or very friendly 'Doume's' restaurants nearby as well as the Michelin star restaurant in 'Le Chalet Mounier' - and a good place for a few drinks is 'Le Pub Windsor' or 'Doume's'.
Booking notes
No smoking in the apartment, no pets. Holding deposit of £100 payable on booking and full amount payable 2 months before arrival. Security deposit taken by our key holder upon arrival from which cleaning fee and 15 euros pp, bedlinen and towels charges will be deducted.
