Local markets weekly with local fresh fruit and produce, a variety of cheeses and fresh seafood from the Atlantic Coast.

Properties and heated swimming pool set in large peaceful surroundings, with use of 4 adjustable adult mountain bikes with one tag-along trailer for 2 small children.
Coast/Beach
The nearest coastal resort La Rochelle is a 60 mins drive. An old port with character and charm and plenty of quayside restaurants. It offers the delightfully preserved Old Town centre with a combination of beaches and boat trips.
Golf
Just 20km away is Chateau des Forges Golf and Country Club, with restaurant and bar open to the public. It is a 27 hole golf course, made up of 3 nine hole courses with levels suitable for all golfers.
Travel
The nearest airports are Poitiers 30 mins and La Rochelle 60 mins with car hire available. The nearest Ports are St Malo 3.5 hours, Caen 4 hours and Cherbourg 5 hours. There is a local train station at the nearest town, and a larger one at St. Maixent L'ecole which is serviced by the T.G.V.

The nearest town Pamproux is 3km with access to shops, bars, swimming pool and tennis courts. St Maixent L'ecole is a larger town with extensive shops including a hypermarket, a weekly market, bars and restaurants and is 9km away.
