The chalet is situated at the more peaceful entrance to the resort. It has access to outside space being located on the ground floor, with patio doors leading out to a terrace and garden area. The Majestic is great for families from this point of view, but more generally make it easy to come and go and enjoy the sunsets on the terrace. The chalet faces south so gets a lot of sun, and is very modern and decorated to a high standard. The Majestic is a comfortable place, with a large living area which forms an extra bedroom if required. The chalet has sofa beds and sofas for relaxing in the evening and large wooden tables and chairs for dining. TVs, DVD players and music systems are supplied, and fully fitted kitchens with dishwashers and all mod cons. Les 2 Alpes offers skiing, winter and summer, and many other activities including mountain biking. We are sure the chalet will be perfect for your holiday.

Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | The chalet sleeps up to 8 people. 2 bedrooms have twin bunk and 1 double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. The living room has a large double futon. Each room has fitted wardrobes and bedside tables and lamps, and are tastefully decorated and comfortable. |
| Bathrooms: | The bathroom is tastefully decorated with a fitted shower unit and separate toilet facility. Plus the en- suite shower, sink and toilet in the double room. |

Notes on accommodation
The Majestic is perfect for families and groups alike. If you want to cook for yourself and have a peaceful holiday, the chalet is located in a peaceful area with a fully fitted kitchen. If you wish to go out, eat at restaurants and sample Les 2 Alpes famous nightlife, you are a 5 minute walk from the bars and shops. The chalet has modern central and under floor heating. Let us know if you need a cot or high chair and we will arrange.
Accessibility
The chalet is on the ground floor, with easy road access, but could easily be used by wheelchair users. (From an access point of view - there are not disabled specific features in the chalet itself)
Outside
The chalet has a terrace and garden area, and garden furniture is provided. It is south facing so attracts a lot of sun, and offers relaxing outside space areas either for apres ski when you get back of the slopes or during the day in the hotter summer months. There is a lovely pool in Les 2 Alpes 5 minutes walk away, which is perfect for summer after a morning of skiing.
Golf
There is a 9 hole pitch and put golf course in Les 2 Alpes open during the summer season.
Skiing
Les 2 Alpes is France's second oldest ski resort (after Chamonix). It is a world class resort with one of the largest ski areas and vertical drops to be found anywhere. Add to this a huge range of apres-ski options and the lift-linked descent to La Grave, and you have a very special destination.
Les 2 Alpes offers more than 200 km of runs served by over 60 ski lifts. The glacier is Europe's biggest offering a large area for summer skiing, together with board and ski parks. Its height, at 3600 metres means snow is guaranteed all year round and summer is becoming an increasingly popular time to visit for skiing in the morning and sun bathing the pool later, or mountain biking, rafting, parapenting and hiking for the more adventurous!
The board and ski parks are renowned across Europe as excellent facilities and a great place to learn or improve your skills. The pistes are well maintained and mountain restaurants make perfect stops for lunch on their terraces.
Travel
Les 2 Alpes is situated between Grenoble and Briancon and is simple and cheap to get to. Ideally fly Easyjet or Ryan Air to Lyon or Grenoble, hire a car and you’ll be there in under 2 hours. (Coach transfers also possible) Geneva and Turin are also under 3 hours transfer timer to Les Deux Alpes, whilst Eurostar can take you as far as Chamberry, also a 2 hour transfer.

Les 2 Alpes is 100km from Grenoble, and 160km from Lyon.
Further details
Les 2 Alpes has a diverse range of shops, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. We can recommend some of the best if you wish, and also have discounts with ski schools and equipment hire shops. The swimming pool and ice rink are great additions for the kids and the resort as a whole is very down to earth and friendly.
Booking notes
Saturday to Saturday changeover, although we can be flexible, please call for details. Deposit to hold the property for you week, and full payment 10 weeks before. Meet and greet, linen, cleaning and deposit handled by lady in resort, who is also around during the week for any other queries. 10 euros per person for linen, or you can bring your own, 50 euros per group for cleaning payable on arrival.

About the owner
Hi there, thanks for considering our chalet for your holiday. We bought Majestic in 2007 after having some fantastic holidays in Les 2 Alpes - it had everything, great sking, excellent restaurants, good bars, friendly people and a glacier to ski all year round on!
Majestic was our 2nd chalet in L2A, the 1st first was used to launch the ski and snowboard charity I now run full time, Snow-Camp, www.snow-camp.co.uk. In our first year we took 7 young people from London to Les 2 Alpes. This year we took 280 young people from across London!
The Majestic is also a fantastic chalet which we bought to cater for bigger groups, its in our favourite part of the village - close to the pistes, easy walk to everything in town and quiet for a good nights sleep!
