Newly converted property situated in a quiet rural hamlet, ideal for families and couples alike. Cycling (available to hire locally) and countryside walks from your door. Starting from 3km for the novice, too far-reaching full day routes for the more experienced (all routes are marked). Also available within 25 minutes drive are water sports, horse riding, go-karting and children’s theme/adventure parks.

Notes on prices
Prices quoted are for the property rental per week. Minimum stay 2 nights. Prices are pro rata to weekly rental charge.
Short breaks are available throughout the year except for August.
We are able to provide a grocery shopping service available on your arrival (48 hours notice required), payable locally.
Changeover day
Arrival time is 4pm and departure time is 10am. Changeover days are preferrable on Saturday's, but is flexible for longer/shorter stays.

All bedlinen, towels and T-towels are provided. However, please bring your own beach towels. |
Notes on accommodation
Whilst smokers are welcome, smoking within the property is not permitted. The accommodation has full central heating for winter letting. From 25 October - 25 March, additional heating costs will be charged at 28 euros per week (payable locally).

Accessibility
The property would not suit those people with severe mobility problems.
Outside
The gardens are set in 2 acres of land with it's own lake stocked with mirror carp. Fishing is available to all guests (equipment is not supplied and is subject to conditions). It also has patio furniture, picnic area by the lake, barbecue and a private pool 6.5x4.5m. (the pool is available from 1st May to 30th Sept).
Coast/Beach
Lake St Pardoux with 3 independant beaches, water chute, boating and childrens play area, is only a 20 minute drive away. Slightly further afield is Lake Vassiviere, boasting 6 sandy beaches and watersports (during July and August lifeguards patrol the swimming areas). The coastal town of La Rochelle, is approximately 2.5 hours drive away.
Golf
We are just 15 mins drive from a brand new golf course at Mortmart (open from Sept 07). Other golf courses include Golf de St Junien, Golf de Porcelaine and Golf de Limoges which are all less than a 40 minute drive away.
In addition, there are 6 other golf courses in the Limousin region. All situated less than 1.5 hours drive away. Golf clubs, trolley and buggy hire available from all courses.
There is a golf course to suit everyone, from novice to the experienced golfer.
If your looking for new and varied courses to challenge you, this is an ideal area to visit.
Travel
Limoges airport is only a 20 minute drive from the gite. Poitiers airport is an hour away. Both have car hire available. The port of Calais is 460 miles away, and is approx 6.5 hours drive. Transport is essential for visiting this area.
Distances
The second world war martyr village of Oradour sur Glane is only a short drive away.The historic town of Bellac is 12km. St Junien nearest large town, famous for glovemaking is 15km.The capital of the region Limoges, is 25 minutes drive. Famous worldwide for its porcelain, has excellent shopping and cultural attractions, including the old city with it's cathedral, museums and botanical gardens.
Further details
A bank, doctors and dentist are available locally. For large supermarkets/hypermarkets they are within a 20 minute drive. The city of Poitiers is an hour away, with good shopping facilities and the theme park Futuroscope. You can also visit the Perigord/Dordogne region, about 1.5 hours drive It has an abundance of beautiful chateaus and many other places of interest, including prehistoric cave paintings.

To book, firstly check for availability. From your email/telephone request, we will send you a booking form. On receiving the completed booking form, a 20% deposit is required within 7 days. If you book your holiday within 8 weeks from the start date, then full payment will be required when the booking is made.
