Traditional Chalet Shufu was built in 2003 to the highest of specifications. It is an ideal winter or summer holiday chalet for families or groups of up to 15. Super location getting sunshine all day we are close to the small resort centre of St Jean d'Aulps. Shops, bars and restaurants are all within easy walking distance of the chalet.

Notes on accommodation
Electric under floor heating and wall heaters in all rooms. Everything possible needed to keep children happy - apart from the great outdoors there are books, toys and games in addition to a choice of 400 + dvds. Cots, high chairs, playpens, listening devices etc. also provided.
Outside
We have a lovely private garden with children's swings (and in winter sledging runs) leading down to a stream and the river which has a deep pool for a cool dip. There are also huge sun-facing balconies and terraces around the chalet. Great for summer BBQs and outdoor eating.
Coast/Beach
We are 30 minutes from beaches on Lac Leman (Lake Geneva) at Thonon and Evian. A great place for wake-boarding!
Golf
There are several golf courses within the area.
Skiing
We are located in the Portes du Soleil ski area, the largest linked area in the world! Just 5 minutes from the nearest ski-lift and only 10 minutes from the very heart of the whole Portes du Soleil ski domain. In addition to the ski bus which passes the chalet we provide a free minibus service. There is more than enough for all levels in 650km of piste and unlimited off-piste.
Travel
Geneva airport is just over 1 hour away. Driving from Calais takes about 9 hours.

Distances
There is so much to see in the summer in the surrounding area that hiring a car is recommended - we are within an hours drive of Chamonix, Annecy, Evian and Yvoire.
We are 6km from Morzine.
