La Pergola is newly renovated beautifully restored and luxuriously equipped barn conversion offering four bedrooms all air conditioned and two family bathrooms. It can easily accommodate up to 8 (plus babies) and can either be rented separately or together with our other 2 four bedroom properties as they are all within the same grounds and share the pool, so are ideal for families sharing. In the sitting room is a projector TV displayed on an impressive motorised screen with a quality surround sound system, as well as the full Sky packages (movies, sports & children’s), a Wii console with great family interactive games, a huge library of videos, PS1, Hi-Fi, CD player, iPod docking station and access to ADSL via WiFi, we even text you daily the weather report! All double beds have luxurious mattress toppers for maximum comfort & include 100% cotton bed linen and towels are supplied.

Prices are based on up to 4 adults & 4 children sharing the property. Prices are advertised in UK pounds, however, payments are taken in Euros on and exchange rate of 1.30%.
Changeover day
Changeover days are Saturdays, please refer to our booking form on our web-site for checkin/checkout procedures and times.

| Utility Room: | To make you life easier - we are delighted to supply a washing machine, airer, pegs, washing basket, mop, bucket and cleaning materials. You will also find extas like washing up liquid, bin liners, dishclothes, cling film and foil at your disposal. |
| Living Rooms: | In the sitting room you have a Projector TV and motorised huge screen, quality surround sound, a large video library, as well as ADSL via WIFI access. The full Sky package incl. sports, movie & children’s packages plus an Ipod docking station. |

Freshly pressed 100% cotton bed linen is included and all beds are made ready for you arrival. We also supply within the price all bath and hand towels. Large 100% cotton beach towels are available for rent. |
Notes on accommodation
We also have lots of board games for the entire family a large library of books from babies to adults, plus lots of puzzles and children’s toys from train sets and building blocks to dressing up clothes with princess slippers and wonderful dolls houses to name but a few, to keep the children entertained. You will be delighted with the amount of clean, quality toys on offer. Happy children = Happy parents!
Those little extra’s - You will also find kitchen essentials like washing up liquid, dish cloths, bin bags, kitchen foil, cling-film, kitchen towels and salt and pepper grinders at your disposal. Always appreciated and a few less items to pack. We have also catered for the little ones, by supplying child friendly crockery, cutlery, baby bottle warmer, microwave steriliser, highchair and a push chair (all included within the price).

Accessibility
Disabled access- La Pergola has been specially designed in mind to be both suitable for the elderly and for wheelchair users. It has a small ramp with ‘non slip tiles’ leading from the sitting room to the bedroom and bathroom areas. All internal and external doors are a minimum of 1 meter wide and light switches have been lowered to allow easy access.
Outside
The heated swimming pool measures 12m x 6m. The pool has been specifically designed and built with children's enjoyment in mind. The pool has both a safety fence and has lockable child safety gates.The shallow end of the pool has large steps which have been made wider than normal - one is a metre wide which makes an ideal area for young babies and toddlers to play in. The shallow end is only 1.05m deep (i.e. shallower than normal), so young children can stand in the water easily.The pool is surrounded by 150m² of timber decking with over 20 sunloungers for sunbathing and plenty of large parasols for shade. The L-shaped pool has a large terrace next to the pool steps where the whole family can relax and enjoy themselves. An additional raised, decked area by the pool is shaded by a large walnut tree. Under the tree are sunloungers and café-style tables and chairs. NB - the pool area is shared between all three of our properties.
Coast/Beach
La Pergola is less than 10 minutes from the famous Vendée coast - referred to locally as the Côte-de-Lumière (Coast of Light). The fantastic sandy beaches stretch along 13kms, and 8kms of them face south. The main beach at La-Tranche-sur-Mer (10 minutes away) is ideal for families with children. It is approved as a "Kids' Station", which means that the resort is a safe environment for children to play in. It also has specialist equipment and entertainments which specifically cater for families.
Golf
France is one of Europe's most popular golfing holiday destinations. It has over 25 of the Top 100 golf courses in Europe - and many golfers are now choosing to play in France rather than the traditional Spanish golf resorts. French golf courses are of an exceptionally high standard, are competitive and are well managed.

Distances
La Pergola is just a 2 minute stroll from the centre of Angles, In the summer months it has a large street market on both Wednesday and Sunday mornings - an excellent opportunity to sample much of the locally produced food, including cheese, meat, fish & wine. They also organises special events in the square including fun days, evening entertainers, jazz and blues nights, firework displays & night markets. You can sit with the locals and enjoy 'moules & frites' whilst listening to a local band.

Indian forest adventure:
Marked trails in the forest up to 20ft high give you up to 122 different challenges. You are suspended by safety harnesses and are able to climb, swing, dismount and even slide across the forest. Great area for toddlers too, with themed bouncy castles, ball park, rock climbing, inflatable park, trampolines, swings, slides, ropes and pony rides to name but a few! Excellent day out for the children and for adults and only 5 minutes away, Great fun and highly recommended.
Futuroscope theme park:
An absolute must. Futuroscope offers you the chance to take part in an original experience and become part of one of the legendary scenes in cinema history. The park has 60 hectares of leisure space for everyone to enjoy, with street theatre, exhibitions, relaxation areas, games, and more, to give you the perfect, fun-filled outing. Just one example of the wonderful activities on offer is the 3D space adventures where you will experience alongside the astronauts and cosmonauts the elating sensation of floating in mid-air 407 km above the Earth, the guaranteed thrills of an excursion in space and the daily challenges of life in orbit. A wonderful experience and something for everyone.
Puy du fou grand park:
Puy du Fou is where time stands still - take a journey through 2,000 years of history. You will see villages from different eras, gladiators still doing battle, Vikings launching attacks on fortified castles and jousting knights plus a 1900 market town and a 18th Century Village. In the summer, there are 28 evening/night shows with 300 fireworks per show, 2000 digitally-controlled projectors, 1500 computerised fountains, 4500 costumes and many more special effects. There are minstrels in the heart of the woods and master falconers in the meadows. This huge area covering 40 hectares will be an instant hit with children and adults alike.
