To discover France is to fall hopelessly in love with a small village with its labyrinth of streets. It is to be inspired by images that provide proof that despite encroaching progress nothing has really changed. The simplicity of village life has a timeless quality to it. Everyone should experience it at least once. LaBouriane is a village house in Payrac, one of those memorable villages. It has a well-supplied supermarket, boulangerie, historic hotel, pharmacy, physician, gas station/garage, restaurants, public swimming pool, tennis courts, post office, beauty shop and a great tourist office, all within walking distance. You'll never run out of things to do. The cliffs overhanging the rivers are lined with impressive castles. Pre-historic caves are abundant. Canoeing, kayaking, bicycling, hiking, walking and horseback riding are popular sports. One of the best activities is eating and drinking the renowned cuisine and wine. It's hard to find a bad meal!

Guest comments

'From lovely little Payrac we daily ventured out and found adventures many. What fun we had as a family. We hope to return!' Connie and Oscar Milbrath-Pelta, Vancouver BC

Thank you for everything! We really enjoyed to be your guests. The house is amazing and we felt like we were in our own home. Au revoir, Volinits Family Tel Aviv, Israel

The cottage and village experience was everything we hoped it would be. For us the long walks in the French countryside were so enjoyable (almost therapeutic) after coming from a continent that has endured 10 years of drought. Thank you both for being so welcoming and for your warm company. Colin & Mary King, Bendigo, Australia
