The gites are adjacent to a small chateau and river. Situated in a peaceful valley on the edge of Concores a pretty stone village with local shop, boulangerie, bar, post office, tennis court and Boules pitch all within walking distance. Concores is between the rivers Lot and Dordogne and towns of Gourdon and Cahors, a perfect and wonderful place to explore this beautiful and historic region of France.

Notes on prices
We offer monthly rates for low and mid season. Low season £500 per month (28 days) and Mid season £600 per month (28 days), Heating charged as extra.
Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday for July and August and arrival time is after 4.00pm, departure time is before 10.00am.
At other times of the year we are flexible with the above.

Each gite is approached via an external wooden staircase to a private decked area (4.5m x3m) with patio table, chairs and umbrella for al-fresco dining. You enter by double doors into the main living area with comfortable seating and equipped with TV and DVD player (TV with English freeview channels). Dining area with table and seating for 6, and fully equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, washing machine, iron, ironing board, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and toaster. From the living area open tread stairs take you to the next floor which consists of a double bedroom with bedside tables, chest of drawers and wardrobe, a bedroom with two single beds with bedside drawers and wardrobe and a shower room. From this floor open tread stairs take you to the next floor which consists of a bedroom with two single beds bedside drawers and hanging space and a WC and wash hand basin. In front of the gite is a bbq and picnic table. |

Notes on accommodation
All bed linen and towels are provided and changed weekly. Welcome pack of: tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread, cheese, ham, water & wine. We have cots, highchairs and baby baths available for no extra charge.
A complimentary BBQ and drinks evening (buffet out of season) is hosted by the resident proprietors during your stay.
We have six, various sized, mountain bikes available for use (subject to availability)
Each gite has electric heating for the winter months (an additional charge is made for this). We offer special rates for long stays and those here house hunting, please enquire for further details.
Accessibility
Because the main accommodation is on the first floor, the property is unsuitable for anyone in a wheelchair, we will however be only too happy to assist any guest with special needs.
Outside
Each gite has on the terrace, an outside table with six chairs and a parasol. In front of each gite is a charcoal BBQ and picnic table.
There is a communal swimming pool (shared with the owners) which is 14m x 7m and 1.5m deep, the pool is fitted with submersion alarms, the pool terrace area has ample sunloungers, small tables and table and chairs. We have a quiet area with fruit trees and an arbour with flowerbeds.
A section of the grounds is maintained as a games area with, football goals, badminton, volley ball, swings and slide (all equipment provided). We have a games room with pool table, football table, library area and board games. We have a large car parking area.

There is a 9 hole course 25mins away and an 18 hole course 40 mins. Please see the links on our website for further details.

Concores is 150m from the property, Gourdon is 12km away and Cahors is 25km.
The Dordogne is 20km north and the famous, Rocamadour 45km to the north east.
Further details
The village of Concores has boulangerie, petrol station with general store/off licence a bar serving a "plat de jour"/post office and a repair garage. Gourdon is abound with many excellent restaurants, cimema (sometimes showing English films), banks, supermarkets, DIY stores, general shops and a weekly market. Gourdon has a railway station with TGV connections with Paris.
The area is renowed for walking, cycling and bird watching. There is aslo some fantastic cave diving locally.
Booking notes
After your enquiry is received you will be sent a booking form (or you can complete our online form), please return this to us and we will give you our UK bank details so that you can transfer 25% of the holiday costs, once we have received your deposit we will send you an invoice, the balance of your your holiday cost plus the £100 security deposit is due eight weeks before the start date of your holiday.
