This property benefits from quick access into Baud with its attractive shops, restaurants and other amenities; yet it is also just 30 mins from the coast of Morbihan with its stunning beaches. The historic town of Vannes is an enjoyable 30 minute drive and the vast forest of Camors with its numerous walks and cycle paths is minutes away. The wonderful Blavet and Etel rivers are also nearby.

Notes on accommodation
The property is fully centrally heated. For summer lets, gas, electricity and oil are included in the rental fee (fuel surcharge applies nov-apr).
Outside
The property is set in over half an acre of land. Much of this is laid to lawn and is very suitable for children who are able to play safely. Gates at the entrance of the property provide added safety and security. Garden furniture and barbeque are also available.
Coast/Beach
The nearest coast is at Auray or Larmor Plage, both of which are an easy half-hour drive. The Morbihan coast features an array of stunning, mainly sandy beaches, e.g. Carnac, Plouhinec, Larmor Plage, Quiberon.
Golf
There are a number of golf courses within close proximity of this property.
Travel
Low-cost operators (Ryanair) fly to Dinard (1.5 hours) and Nantes (1.5 hours). The port of St Malo (Brittany Ferries) is 2 hours away; Caen (Ouisteham) is approx 2.5-3 hours by car. Calais is approx 6 hours by car. Car/other transportation is essential for fully exploring the region.
Distances
The centre of Baud is a short less than 5 minute drive. Camors forest is also 5 mins away. The historic towns of Pontivy and Josselin are reachable within 20-30 mins. The fascinating medieval town of Vannes is approx 30 mins. The beautiful Blavet Valley can be accessed within 10 minutes. Morbihan's stunning coastline is accessible within 30-45 mins.

'Belle-Baud' has easy access to this beautiful region of Brittany - interesting towns such as Pontivy, Josselin, Vannes, Auray. Baud itself is an enchanting market town with excellent amenities including fine restaurants, a variety of bars, shops (2 excellent patisseries) and supermarkets. It also has a good indoor swimming pool plus there are horse-riding, tennis and go-karting facilities nearby. The stunning Golf of Morbihan with its fabulous beaches, fascinating towns and coastline (numerous island boat trips) is a short drive away.
Booking notes
A 30% deposit will be payable on confirmation of booking. The balance plus £250 security deposit is payable 8 weeks prior to departure date.

A truly wonderful and unforgettable holiday. The villa was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed - spacious, comfortably furnished and high quality. We loved our morning croissants “alfresco” whilst enjoying the views from the villa which are beautiful. We will return!

We had two wonderful weeks at Belle-Baud. We loved spending time relaxing in the garden watching the birds and at night time you get the most fantastic clear starlit skies. The views from the house are fantastic – miles of green rolling countryside all around. Lovely house in a beautiful location. Very relaxing.

We live just outside of Cambridge with our three young children. With very hectic professional and family lives in the UK, we always look to escape to our haven in Brittany at every opportunity. We adore France and have been holidaying in Brittany for many years.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Belle-Baud is in a wonderful location surrounded by gorgeous countryside yet very close to the market town of Baud. We love the fact that we can be on the beach in just over half an hour yet at the end of the day return to the peaceful, tranquil surroundings of Belle-Baud. There’s so much to do in the area – as a family we love cycling along the deserted lanes, taking a river walk along the Blavet valley or a trip to the zip wires at Camors Adventure Forest – all within minutes of Belle-Baud. With a young family we particularly appreciate the accessibility of Belle-Baud with St Malo under 2 hours away, Caen 3 hrs and Rennes/Dinard airports just over an hour.

Belle-Baud is in a wonderful location – close to Baud and its many amenities yet surrounded by beautiful countryside. Its slightly elevated position provides wonderful views all around. The house has been completely renovated throughout to a very high standard with new bathrooms (both with bath and shower) and a brand new kitchen. Our guests always comment how comfortable and well appointed the house is. Central heating and a wood burner provide all year round comfort with plenty of hot water for all. The house is very spacious with a large lounge/dining room with oak table that will seat 8. The lounge provides comfortable soft furnishings and UK satellite TV. The four bedrooms are also tastefully decorated and provide ample space to comfortably accommodate 8/9.
