Our Breton house which was built in 1900 is situated on the edge of Mur de Bretagne and is ideal self catering accommodation for couples who are looking to spend a holiday in this beautiful region of Brittany. From the house its a short walk to the post office, bakers, a small supermarket, bank, estate agents, and other shops. And of course, there is a choice of restaurants, créperies and bars for your midday Plat du Jour or a special evening repas. Lac de Guerledan which is the largest lake in Brittany is within walking distance of the house. The lake is a wonderful venue for walking, cycling, canoes, kayak, water skiing and fishing, or just relax on one of the 2 beaches around the lake. During the summer months sight-seeing trips by boat are also available. There are many cycling and walking (randonnée) routes in this area and it is possible to access the now disused railway route (ancien chemin de fer) from the top of our road.
