Welcome to l'Oasis. This charming and tastefully decorated villa is situated on the edge of the beautiful village of Caux. It nestles in it's own very private, landscaped mediteranean garden complete with 8m x 4m pool and shaded moroccan lounge area. The large main lounge and dining area has french windows onto the vine covered terrace. A second lounge area with doors onto the terrace and mezzanine bedroom provides additional space and privacy. The village of Caux is a traditional circulade with excellent bakers, a bar and other local shops. Its less than 10 minutes from the vibrant town of Pezenas - a fabulous medieval town, steeped in history and full of artisans, bars, restaurants and festivals. Caux is 25 minutes from the beautiful beaches of the med, 45 mins from Montpelier. For lovers of nature and outdoor pursuits the rivers, lakes, gorges and mountains are 30-60 minutes drive away. Not to mention the fabulous local vineyards to while away a pleasant afternoon.

The villa is close to Montpellier, Nimes, Carcassonne and Perpignan airports, all served by Ryanair. Montpellier is also served by British Airways from Gatwick. Perpignan by Flybe from Southampton. The villa is within 20 minutes drive of both the A9 and A75 Autoroutes. Those travelling by TGV can alight at nearby Montpellier.

Less than 10 minute drive to Pezenas with many bars / restaurants / galleries / shops.

'Stay here for peace and quiet, beautiful countryside, lovely markets, amazingly friendly and polite locals, access to the sea if you want it, and superb food. The house is roomy and the showers are powerful. You do need a car to visit the beautiful surrounding area (allow €12 per head for a menu du jour and €25 for an a la carte dinner, or €0.8 for a baguette!)' - P F.
