Four cottages located in a rural setting within 1½ acres of mature gardens. Each cottage has been renovated to a high standard with all modern facilities. We accommodate individual lets and also parties up to a maximum of 20 people. The large heated pool is surrounded by matured hedging with a large timber decked area, this is open from end of May to the beginning of September. The garden area is ideal for children of all ages with a large wooden play area, swings, slide, boules and table tennis. Ideally located for the stunning Lac de Guerledan with it's water sports, pony trekking, walking and cycling. Also we have the Nantes to Brest canal running through the village of Gouarec which has well kept tow paths for walkers and cyclists alike.

Appletree cottage has a large downstairs master bedroom with a double bed, triple wardrobe, chest of drawers and a large en-suite fully tiled modern shower room. Upstairs there are two further large twin bedrooms, each having 2 single beds, chest of drawers, bed side cabinets and ornate hanging rails. These bedrooms share a fully tiled modem shower room The main living area is open plan with a large oak kitchen incorporating dishwasher, gas cooker, microwave, fridge and well equipped with plenty of pots and pans and cooking utensils for all your self catering needs. An oak dining table with 6 chairs and 2 large 3 seater sofas make the living area comfy and has a country feel. English freeview TV and DVD player along with coffee table and dresser unit. Out from the back door you have a garden table and chairs, umbrella and BBQ. |

Rose cottage has a large downstairs open plan living area, 2 large sofas, dresser unit and coffee table. English freeview TV and DVD player. A circular pine table and 4 chairs is in the dining area. An oak kitchen with dishwasher, gas cooker, fridge, microwave and plenty of pot/pans and cooking utensils for all your self catering needs. Upstairs a large master bedroom with double bed, chest of drawers, built-in wardrobe and bed side cabinets. The second bedroom has 2 single beds, chest of drawers, bed side cabinet and ornate hanging rail. A modern fully tiled shower room. Outside you have the choice of 2 patios areas, one over looking the front garden with large garden table and chairs/umberella and BBQ. Out of the back door from the kitchen a small patio area with a table and 4 chairs over looking the back garden and views over the valley. |

Honeysuckle cottage has a large downstairs open plan living area with triple French doors over looking the back garden with the fantastic views over the valley. The lounge area has 2 x sofas, pine coffee table, pine TV unit with English freeview TV and DVD player. The dining area has a large pine table with 4 chairs. The oak kitchen with dishwasher, gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and plenty of pots/pans and cooking utensils for all your self catering needs. Upstairs a large master bedroom with double bed, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and built in wardrobe. The second bedroom has two single beds, chest of drawers, bed side cabinets and ornate hanging rail. The shower room is modern and fully tiled. A garden table and chairs, umbrella and BBQ is situated just outside the French doors. |

Notes on accommodation
All 4 cottages are ideal for any age of children. Appletree cottage is centrally heated so ideal for winter breaks. The two smaller cottages are heated through the winter months with electric wall heaters.
Each cottage has a shared laundry room houses the washing machine. Baby equipment available free of charge. All bed linen, t-towels included.
Accessibility
Appletree and Kingfisher Cottages both have downstairs master bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms for those people who do not wish to use the stairs.
Outside
A large heated pool is shared between all 4 cottages . It has 2 deep mosaic tiled steps ideal for young children to paddle in before going down in to the pool. The pool area is surrounded by mature hedging and we have a pool alarm to comply with French regulations. A large timber decked area surrounds the pool with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. All the cottages have tables/chairs/umbrellas and BBQ. The large garden to the rear of the property is ideal for children to run off their surplus energy. We have a wooden climbing frame for the children to play on.Two sets of swings, slide, and boules are available to keep children of all ages amused.
Coast/Beach
We are situated in central Brittany and are therefore an hours drive to the North, South and West coasts of Brittany. A 10 min drive away from us is the Lac de Guerledan which has a number of beautiful safe, sandy beaches ideal for young families.
Travel
Our nearest ports are St Malo and Roscoff, approx 1½ hour’s drive away, Caen and Cherbourg are 3½ hours drive away. The airports of Rennes, Dinard , Brest and Lorient are all about 1½ hou’rs drive. Due to our rural location a car is essential, car hire can be arranged at any of the ports/airports.We can offer all our guests a 20% discount with Brittany Ferries
Distances
Our nearest Vilage of St Nicolas de Pelam with supermarkets and banks is 5 mins drive away. The large town of Rostrenen is 10 mins drive away. The Lace de Guerledan and Abbey of Bonn repos is 10 mins drive.
Further details
Due to our close proximity to the Lac de Guerledan with can accommodation groups of water ski parties and have ample parking for boats. The new supermarket at St Nicholas du Pelem is open all day with pharmacy and petrol station. Central Brittany has many good restaurants which we can recommend to you. The Nantes to Brest canal is ideal for walkers and cyclists alike. Bicycles can be hired from the village of Gouarec.

A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking and the outstanding balance is payable 8 weeks before arrival. Payments can be made in sterling or euros.
