Lovely farmhouse newly decorated is suitable for 1 or 2 families with children or a group of people looking for a restful holiday. It has all the facilities required for babies (cots, highchairs, baby bath, baby changing mat, toys). Swing outside. No neighbours for 1 mile around. Large cycling area outside with no traffic close by. BBQ, wooden table on the green, sun loungers. Shops are less than 3 miles away (bakery, chemist, doctor, banks, supermarket, bars, news agents with British newspapers). In St Gouéno, you will find restaurants, bars, a shop, tennis court, a lake, footpaths, chapel and church. 10 miles away - a medieval town called Moncontour. Swimming pool. In July and August, free concerts every Tuesday night. 15 miles away - Lamballe with a market Thursday mornings. Stud farm. Free concerts every Thursday night. 25 miles away - nearest sandy beach in Pléneuf Val André. Casino. Mont St Michel: an hour away.

Pets are accepted on condition with owner.
The changeover day in July/August is Saturday but we can be more flexible at other times.
Property is available from 4.00pm on arrival and must be vacated by 10.00am on the morning of departure.
Accessibility
All facilities are provided for people with walking deficiencies (but no access for wheelchairs inside - doors are too narrow).

A deposit of 25% is required to secure the booking with the balance payable 6 weeks before the start of your holiday. A separate cheque of £175 or equivalent is required per week as a refundable security deposit.

About the owner
Hello. We are Yvette and Joël Lessard. We live in a tiny village in the Centre of Brittany. We bought the cottage in 1994 and renovated it. Previously it was a farm. The house is by itself in the country but we only live 5 minutes away. It is in a very quiet place. It is very ideal for families with children, even very young. We don't speak much English but our daughters do and will be happy to help if you have any questions. Best regards. Anne

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We bought the place because we live nearby and what we liked about the house was that is was made of stones. And secondly, it is in a very quiet area. The main road is 1 minute away but we can't hear the cars. The main village is 3 km away where you find all the main shops.
Unique benefits of the property
One little English boy aged 5 or 6 learnt to ride a bicycle at our gite. He was extremely pleased and also very proud to tell us about it. There is a large space all dedicated for the children where they can run around, cycle, use their rollers, see the photos of the outside.
