Situated 3km from beautiful sandy beaches and also within the Marais Poitevin nature reserve, La Maison de Soleil provides every comfort for up to 6 guests. Newly refurbished for 2007 there are 2 spacious bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) and a large living room with a sofabed; elegant tub chairs; UK TV and DVD/CD facilities. To avoid wasting precious holiday time there is a dishwasher and washing machine in the fully-equipped kitchen. The house has a large, private and south-facing garden for the sole use of La Maison de Soleil. Longeville-sur-Mer is a pretty Vendéen town with restaurants, bars and a range of shops all within easy walking distance.

All rooms are on the ground floor with the exception of the double bedroom which has 4 steps up to it.

Large sandy beach at Le Rocher is less than 3km away. There are many other beaches within a 20 minute drive ranging from Les Sables D'Olonne which is a large and vibrant tourist resort to the surfer's paradise at Les Conches.
Golf
There is an 18-hole golf course at Port Bourgenay which is approximately 10 mins away by car.
Travel
The nearest airport of La Rochelle is under an hour away. Nantes airport is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. St Malo channel port is within a 4 hour drive. Other channel ports are also easily accessible ranging between 5-7 hours.

The south Vendee coast has many attractions ranging from walks, vineyards, chateaux, dedicated cycle tracks, museums, sea-life centres, not forgetting the all-important beaches and sea!
Booking notes
If more than 12 weeks before your stay, a deposit of 50% is requested at the time of booking. Full payment is required 12 weeks before your stay.
