The Masdecatalpa is a romantic farmhouse for up to three families of all ages - A wonderful place for children, for hide and seek, with a large games room. A range of trees and shrubs have transformed the surroundings into a park. From the dining table on the East terrace you walk straight into the air conditioned kitchen. A dream for cooking enthusiasts! The modern kitchen (the old stables) with minstrels gallery is fully equipped with state of the art appliances and a rotisserie set up in front of an open fire. You move inside to another world...stone floors, ceilings of old wooden beams, antique furniture, contemporary prints...hares, partridge and small deer appear in the grounds at any time even outside the French windows in early evening as they survey their domain.

| Bathrooms: | 3 bathrooms: two with showers and wc. 1 upstairs eastend. 1 upstairs westend with bidet and access to pool outside. Ground floor: 3rd bath next to kitchen and additional separate WC with basin next door. |
| Kitchen: | Solid top cooker with large gas oven. A fridge large enough to stand up in! A gas hob with electric self cleaning oven, washing up machine, larder with second fridge and small freezer. Large dining table. |

Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning is available in the kitchen at meal times. This is a wonderful house for hide & seek with a large games room with plenty of games from Battleships to Bagatelle and Billiard Nicholas to Chess and Draughts.
Accessibility
There are two stairways - one to the East Wing & another to the West. The ground floor bedroom is particularly helpful to anyone wanting to avoid the climb! It is however not suitable for wheel chairs.
Outside
From the kitchen you step directly onto the east covered terrace with a large table and 12 chairs. This is also the home of the BBQ. In Spring wild orchids appear in the glade and the meadow. The fields around can be scattered with poppies or covered in sunflowers. The great charm of the Masdecatalpa lies in its atmosphere. The hilltop village of Salvagnac is 5 minutes away with fresh bread, shops, bars & a restaurant. Rabastens is a ten minute drive over the rolling hills to the South. This drive has wonderful views. A true romance in a pastoral setting. The daily markets include: Rabastens Saturday, Lisle sur Tarn Sunday. You are in the Land of the Cathars amidst the Pilgrim routes to Compostella with the fortified Cathedral in Albi, one of the most unusual in France built to re-establish the churches authority.
Travel
Toulouse Blagnac Airport is 45km away via the A68 Autoroute. The nearest railway stations are Rabastens and Lisle sur Tarn. Use of car is essential.

Gaillac is 15 kms, Salvagnac 5 kms and Rabastens 8 kms.
