This 4th floor, modern 80 sq.m. apartment, is furnished to a very high standard. Fully fitted kitchen, sitting room/dining room with leather sofas, one being a sofabed. Seating for 6 people, around the dining table. The first bedroom (en-suite) has a double white iron bed, with sliding doors onto a balcony, and the 2nd twin beds (en-suite), also have a sliding door onto a balcony. Main balcony, with sea view, also has a great view of the private, well-maintained gardens. There is air-conditioning and central heating throughout. The hall and sitting room have marble floors; the bedrooms have wooden floors and the kitchen, bathrooms and balconies are tiled. This apartment also offers internet access. The gated-grounds have landscaped gardens with mature trees and private parking. The shared swimming pool is child secure. A private underpass leads from straight from the gardens to the beach. Various local golf courses nearby within 20 minutes.
Skiing
Ski resorts are about 1.5 hours away north of Nice.

Nice Ferry Port - 30 minutes
Car hire is not essential, as there is a great bus service locally.
The nearest train station is about 0.5kms, so just a short walk away. From there you can visit all the Cote d'Azur, plus pop over the border to Italy.

Antibes (with it's market and port) - 15 minutes drive
Cannes - (famous for films, shopping, and people watching) - 25 mins drive
Nice (everything you could need, museums, shopping, wonderful daily market in the old town) - 15 minutes drive
Italy - 45 minute drive
St Paul de Vence (art galleries and the famous Colombe d'Or restaurant) - 20 minutes drive.
Further details
Cagnes-sur-Mer comprises three main areas:- the old fishing port of Cros-de-Cagnes, with shops and restaurants within an easy walk of the apartment, the town centre and the ancient village perceh of Haut-de-Cagnes, with its' castle and steep narrow streets. The race-course, the Hippodrome de la Cote D'Azur, lies at the far end of the newly laid-out promenades along the sea front. Cagnes is known as the town of the painters, where many famous impressionists and other artists worked; the Musee Renoir is located in the artist's house on a hillside near the old town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at San Marco in July 2007. The apartment was perfect for us & our 18 month old boy. It is extremely well equipped with all the latest mod cons & the interior design is also very modern and appealing. The main balcony is a good size & offers nice views of the pool & out to the sea in the distance. The swimming pool is very nice, it gets quite busy in the afternoons but it is clean & very refreshing.
We found the location of the apartment excellent. An easy stroll to the beach, supermarket, restaurants, train station etc, & it is a great base for exploring the region. We had no problems at all with booking, paying, arranging pick ups etc.
We would love to come back & stay in this apartment again & highly recommend it. Perfect for a small family or a couple wanting the extra space.
